Does the bonus of the ArcAngeling card Stack with the minus 100 of Bloodsucker?
Specificaly my example is the following:

TOP: AA Vanargand+9
LOW:B. Sucker

The blood sucker text says that it STOPS recovery altogether BUT the Code Text of the item says other wise:

{ bonus bUnbreakableHelm,0; bonus2 bHpDrainRate,30,5; bonus bHPrecovRate,-100; bonus bSPrecovRate,-100; },{},{}

While  AA says:

{ bonus bMaxHP,300; if(readparam(bLuk)>=77) { bonus bHPrecovRate,100; bonus bSPrecovRate,100; } },{},{}

Does this mean that your recovery still exists because 200-100 recovery is still 100 recovery and you still get the awesome Healing from Sucker/Vana combo.
Or doesn't it work that way?

"fingers crossed it works bc i wanna use this"

Thanks michael! :D
I hope some expert of the game can confirm or reject my theory! I'm a new player so i don't know the inner workings of the game!

Legendario :P my example was with Vanargand. IF this works then you will never buy any potion for pvm and (weak)mvps :P.
i am waiting for a tester

They both contradict. a booster hp/sp recovery vs a disabled hp/sp recovery,

That's already doable, but now this new headgear will make it way easier.

They contradict in the Text, not in the way they are coded. 200regen with archangeling-100regen from sucker could mean 100 remaining regen. (normal regen)
That's why i am waiting online for somebody to confirm this. (its 5 after midnight here. lol)

I would see it as AA doubling your regen where as I see the headgear reducing it to nothing. Aka. 2 x 0 = 0 xD

again, that's what the text says. The code (if it's correct) states otherwise. I NEED CONFIRMATION DAMMIT. :P
to explain again.

AA code states it adds HP/SP regen +100 and BS code States it SUBTRACTS -100. this would still make your REGEN total 100. because of Archangeling.

If this is correct it would mean:

100(your regen)+100(AA regen)-100(BSantiregen)=100total regen

You should get normal regenerative with the two combined. You can see that AA is +100% and not x2 by equipping two of them: you get 300% regen instead of 400%.

Earth deleter is probably the closest to blood sucker: use earth deleter and incubus, and see that on regen tick you actually lose sp (-100% + -20%)

Being overweight, on the other hand, is completely different, which just shuts off your regen. Use earth deleter and incubus, but go over 50% weight, and watch your sp no longer regen down.

Blood Sucker and Earth Deleter together do not lower one's SP per tick -- tested at above and below 50% weight. I do not have an AA to test tho.

So much h4x0rz. And I guess the private server code got the code spot-on too (I assume your snippet came fromrenewal.playragnarok.com.com). :heh:

If I'm a RO dev I'd consider this a bug and change Blood Sucker to completely nullify all HP/SP Recovery.

So if:

AA Card = +100% HP/SP = +(baseRecovery*1.0) HP/SP Recovery

Blood Sucker = -100% HP/SP = -(currentRecovery*1.0) HP/SP Recovery

...where currentRecovery is equal to your baseRecovery + recoveryBoosts.

But apparently, I guess it does this instead:

Blood Sucker = -100% HP/SP Recovery = -(baseRecovery*1.0) HP/SP Recovery

AA Card = +100% HP/SP Recovery = +(baseRecovery*1.0) HP/SP Recovery

But to hell with that! I'm a user so LOLOLOLOL

does blood sucker drain hp by every hit? according to the code it procs just like 3%. but its not stated in the description. anyone tested it yet?

I didn't notice any hp loss. I can double check later when I'm in game, but I'm pretty sure there wasn't any.

I think he's asking if Blood Sucker drains HP for every hit as the text description says or for just 3% of the time. I'm also wondering that myself.
