I've been watching some kRO warlock videos and i've noticed that many kRO warlocks cast Sight before using some attack skills, like Earth Strain or Crimson Rock.

For example in Nightmare clock tower, where no monster can use hide, the combo usually goes :

vFirewall (to keep the Big Bells away) -> MAmp -> Sight -> attack skills.

Is there any special reason for this?

Example videos:

(i wished we'd finally get the chain lightning fix...)

My guess is that it's to cancel Mystical Amplification's after-cast animation.

Wouldn't that just eat the MA effect?

That could be a valid reason. However, you don't need to cast sight to cancel it.

You can straight up cast your damage skill the moment your mAmp cast is at 100%, which also aborts the mAmp animation.

M.Amp and click to walk, animation canceled already.

I see 2 possibilities, 1 is to cancel m.amp animation, some skills dont eat your buff, never tested sight tho to be 100% sure.
2 kRO has some gear that gives you a buff within sight duration, wich i really dont doubt since its kRO.

Sight definitely does not eat the MA effect. In the first video about 30 sec in he does CR -> ES -> CR and you can see his first CR does about 80k while the 2nd does about 60k.

It does look like he's using it to cancel the animation but like others said could just move or cast your damage spell instead. Habit maybe? I know I learned to cancel it by moving and doing it any other way feels weird

Maybe is just for extra protection, remember that with the platinum skill, sight push away monsters when they are near you

Reading Spell Book

Sight

Summon Fire Ball

Summon Lightning Ball

Summon Stone

Summon Water Ball

Ice Wall

All of these don't take the Magic Amplification effect.

I've already tested them myself.

Quagmire consumes Magic Amplification effect.
