Title says it all, I'm wondering what the best Shadow Gear items would be best for a CC Genetic?

Just FYI the shadow gear is pretty minimal for the most part. Its mostly a min-maxer thing for experts.

 

The best thing for a gene if they're MVPing is the Liberation set (shoes+shield) for +10% damage vs bosses. That's the only very powerful shadow gear right now.  Expect to pay 1b++ for the pair.

 

The "physical" set is also very good (accessory x2 + weapon) as it can boost your ATK by up to 50 (if every piece is +10, but you probably won't go above +4 without an event, so +26 ATK instead).

 

Otherwise you're looking at the small stuff like +1% ranged (kingbird shadow weapon + ancient armor) or the basic starter shadow set that does +3 to all stats (dropped by the strange bugs in the criatura academy)

 

The spellflow set is worth owning for optioning the 'phen' effect in situations where you need both your accessories for something else, or don't want the hindered cast speed.

depends on your level and what you want/need.

 

Life Link  +30% HP regenrate

Valk armor +1 to all stats, indestructable

Meteo Armor +30% resistance to blind and stun, high Defense

Glorious Suit +20% HP

Hero Trade Mail - best of the lot but requires lvl160
