Hey guys,

As we know ROSE is geared towards turning us into hard-bitten kill-happy warriors in preparation for the final showdown on Hebarn. I've given some thought to a possible incentive/reward for "completing the game" besides whatever the devs have planned already. What about...

a multiclass!

I'm sure you've thought about multiclassing in ROSE and discarded it for its many, many issues. However as a so-called endgame reward it's quite attractive. Things like Holy Knights, Paladins, Pirates and whatnot - all combinations of existing classes into one superclass. Essentially the main class (1st job) differentiating into two (2nd job) then recombining into another (two 2nd jobs) of your choice.

Now, while that soaks in, what are your ideas for what such so-called 3rd jobs could be? As in which class + which class = ??? Abilities for such a class?

And no, I DON'T want to see "Uh. Not doable. Not workable. Not feasible." Blah blah blah neg neg neg. Please. Many threads here flatline because of all the negative and exclusionary crap. I want IMAGINATION! Pretend this is a Creative Contraptions thread or something. And if Feuer posts here again with his negative voice... well. It won't be pretty.

Have at it!

The mark of an educated mind, is the ability to entertain a thought without accepting it - Aristotle.

If you're not willing to hear the complications that arise from it, then you're not being honest with yourself about if it's worth investigating in the first place.

That's a topic for another thread. Warm up your keyboard and write down the pros and cons for it in the meantime.

EDIT: The pros and cons analysis is obviously inevitable but I'd like us to spitball a bit FIRST. So, that's how we're gonna do it. Be creative before you engage your critical mind because it's hella hard to do it the other way around.

Thank you!
