Played the game a long long time ago wondering how active the player base is, how bad the grind is, generally if the game is worth playing again. Just curious on your guys opinions and what you have to say.

If you want to reach a specific level as fast as you can feel free to follow my guide for the most practical way to level. Otherwise here is the general outline.

• Level 1-40 is your grace period and level however you like.
• It will take grinding at levels 40-80 of the same F7 mission mode "If you want to level in general quickly"
  (Note by grinding I mean doing the same thing over again, I know people can level from 40-60 without only doing F7, but majority of the people that prefer to just level for the sake of leveling will do F7)
• You can do other quests such as guild quests and hunter g quests on the side for an extra chunk of exp.
• It generally is a grind to get to max level so don't expect following the story line will get you to 85.
• F7 is not the ONLY way to level. You can do other things, but right now the most efficient way to level is doing a tower defense game (F7). So don't let the grind part deter you from playing the game. If you find the game fun, eventually you will come to like the game enough that the grind is just a slice of life.

Player base is erratic, but high nonetheless. Once you reach end game, the community gets quite small especially in certain time zones.

• You should join a guild that fits your time zone, if you have a primary language feel free to join a guild that does use it or understands you.
• You can add friends to keep in touch with at least 30 friends.
• You can help people that needs it and fit in nice with the community

 

Generally everyone here will say that this game is worth playing and it is.

The staff always puts effort into making the game better and holds events which I am sure you will like. The Halloween event is running right now which can help you significantly level faster in the future. So I recommend start playing anytime soon, press that download button!

So in my opinion, yes, you should play the game again.

I used to think we should have a pinned topic to let the new (and even old) players see the changelog/patch-notes but I never said (I don't like people judge me sake of posting).

I belive there will be less new players create such as a topic similar with this one (and those old ones).

Who, me? Yeah, I tend to fall asleep with the game on all the damn time, or just forget and leave it on when I go somewhere, lol. But more likely than not I was asleep.

Did the same thing with XBL for years until I realized there was an auto-shutdown feature. Lmaoooo
