I have a Hybrid GX DD DA / Katar build. Since you mentioned RC, I guess you are not suggesting pure Crit Katar type

 

Stats 175 (may vary depending on what gears you have access to)

 

Str: 100

Agi: 120

Vit: 90

Int: Leftover points

Dex: 90

Luk: 90

 

This is how most hybrid GX's look like. High crit and hit rate at the same time, enabling you to perform well with both Katar skills like rolling cutter and ctrl click (Crit Katar / DD DA).

 

I must say Katar build is not really efficient for MVPing purposes. Mainly because we lack gears and modifiers to properly compete with Crit DD and other classes. Maybe in the future.

 

I'm not saying you can't MVP on your Katar GX. But you definitely have better choices.

 

Gears : (I'm not gonna bring up DD DA as you need slightly different gears) No Gods / mvp card either.

 

Up: +9-+12 White Eddga Hat Any headgear that increases you dmg. Leeching gears are rarely useful for mvping.

Mid: Dark Pinguicula or Essence Force 3 midgear

low: whatever in mouth (I like 99 balloons, CD in mouth and Jinn balloon)

Armor: Nab Cloth (High FS / Atk%) / Sapha Cloth (Sharp/Crit) with elemental reduction cards. As long as you can maintain your crit rate 55+ wearing Nab, you don't need Sapha.

Weapon: Chakram FS/aspd/Sharp enchants with 2 AK cards if you gonna ctrl click Mvps. KVM against demi humans. Thanatos Katar AK card for skills or ctrl click as well.

Garment: Heroic Backpack. Well rounded and probably your best choice if all your stats are 90+. Elemental reduction or attribute increase cards.

Shoes: Temporal Boots. Hard to suggest just one cuz It's situational. Temporal Agi / Luk LD/BP AD4 on 1 vs 1. Temporal Str BP/LD Fs7 for RC.

Accessories: 2 bakos are good enough. RWC rings (FS/Atk%) / Maelstorm Pendant (Gold Scaraba card / DL Force 3)

Nice build ya got there. I focused on Str though since I have more Aspd gears and only switch to dagger if enemy's to tough or if I'm lazy enough to push hotkeys apart from pots

 

Mine's Currently @ 170/59 :

Top : +9 Peerless RWH / +9 WDEH

Mid : Dark Blinder (default) / BDM [1] 

Low : Bloodsucker / CD in Mouth

Body : +9 Deadly Bone Plate / +4 Pasana Nab's Cloth (Str+4 FS 3 FS2)  / +7 Evil Sapha Cloth (troll enchants )

Weapon : +9 HF Thanatos Katar or +12 Soheon RWC dagger and +7 Liberation Ice pick

Garment : +11 Wakwak HBP /+10 Immune HBP / +9 Acid Faw (Full Aspd) / +9 Wakwak FAW (Full FS) 

Boots : +9 Temp Str FS7 Lucky Day or Speed of Light / +11 Superior Enhanced Variant

Acce : 2 Bakotattoos / RWC ring

 

 

 

I usually hunt Amdrais and Root from OGH since competition on MVP hunt is quite hard . not to mention I don't have much to go DD DA since I might miss unless Lucky Day procs.

 

I got an advice prev that ya can pretty much have 2 120 stats by end game but I think it would be more manageable to have only 1 120 stats then balance the rest of the stats.
