I forgot all about this. If I recall, it was the result of a brainstorm between myself, Rescudo and XCal. Screenshot and download link at the end of this post. This is likely pushing 10 years old, and I just tested it, still works perfectly :)

Usage:

  1. Open all of your expected clients (no limit)
  2. Open the MDI app
  3. Press "Hook" once for each client (It will pull the running clients into itself, one at a time)
  4. Tile/Cascade as you see fit

No more having multiple windows open... ONE WINDOW TO RULE THEM ALL

Click the image for full resolution screenshot (I took the screenshot spanned over 3 screens)

nice but the far end of the screen on either side will end up being shrinked. Some parts of that side is important to view it. Just saying

Meaning, the resolution of the game is not changed to the mod app.

This is pretty nifty. Were you guys trying to make a multibox setup or something?

@Banrukai

Its all on one PC, but yea, basically multi PC but in one window

@KatsuraKujo

it all depends on your in game resolution, really. In the side by side screenshot, my resolution was maxed (1920x1080x3). In the old screenshot, I don't recall, but it was likely 1024x768x4 (Which was cut off, but if you maximized one, it would hide the other two, and you could switch on the fly)

No, I meant Multiboxing on games. It is where you run multiple instances of the client on one computer, and you control them all from the first character.

This looks like what you guys were playing with, when making MDI

Its not possible to control multiple players from one client/player, and it isnt possible to have multiple instances of one character in game, if either of those are what you meant. The only way this is possible is a separate account for each client.

2 characters from same account - not possible

2 characters from separate accounts - possible

The 2 screenshots above show 3 accounts in the first, and 4 accounts in the second

I'm not sure how you are getting confused, but I mean multiple accounts, and multiple clients haha.

This is called multiboxing in online games.

Also, it is entirely possible to control multiple clients at once using one character. It is called key broadcasting.

This is an example, not my own accounts.

Nifty. No it doesn't use key broadcasting.

Playing multiple clients is allowed, and actualy encouraged as far as im aware.

Playing multiple clients with the use of 3rd party programs, that help you attack, loot, do questing or any other interactions a character might be doing through the use of the  program is against the rules.

read some rules here:
https://forums.warpp...39-botting-faq/

& some more updated rules...Here:

https://forums.warpp...arding-botting/

So in short, if your using the MDI program to clunk all your clients into one window, thats perfectly fine.
