Hi WP People,

 

RO2 economy has gone up and down since May 1, 2013.  Not everyone, especially new players, will be able to afford 30 days VIP.  I am suggesting that 7 days or 14 days VIP be added in the Kafra shop.

I'd rather see them change VIP to be account-bound instead of character-bound first.

that certainly would be wonderful however it is an unlikely that will happen considering that there would be no profit for them.

Are you saying RO doesn't make money at all since its VIP is account-bound?

I am saying if it's account bound then all of the 10 characters in that account would be VIP'd like RO1 and they wouldn't make as much as having each character having VIPs as now since you have to get 10 VIPs.

Not a lot of people want to shell out for each of their characters, so I doubt they're making that much money off the current character-bound system, if at all.

Account-wide stuff is a good idea, and one we've wanted for a bit, it's just about how to get it to work.

 

We used to have 1-day VIP cards, if I remember correctly. I'll share the idea to add smaller iterations in the shop. We're looking at various aspects of the game to renew for 2016 or fix, so this definitely helps.

Long time greetings aside, been playing another game with this set up

The way they run it, it's not a dire need to have elite status (VIP equivalent). Not going to bother going into details about what it offers, but how they have it set up, players can either pay for it as a subscription base per month, or it's buyable in the in game cash shop.
Elite status works across the whole account.. and mind you, they have like... 6 servers.

Similar to how they have account items. Players can buy account mounts, or account pets. Similar concept, player buys account mount, said mount is redeemable regardless what server they are in.
