Weapon costumes are affecting the range of our attacks. It's been that way for a while but as a PvM Player it wasn't much of a bother. However for PvP consideration this should be fixed as it paces some people in dangerous situations that they can't see on their screen.

On the client side, you see yourself at full range, server side + enemy-side, they see you at the weapon range. This is bothersome and exploitable.

By having a short range weapon in your EQ and Larger Range costume weapon, you can bypass shorter ranged weapons.

Vice versa

Having a long range weapon in your EQ, but a shorter ranged weapon in costume, you're losing that range.

I thought all the costume bonus stats were removed a while ago.

(Not counting the lucky spin costume sets)

Yes, they were supposed to have been. But somehow weapon range is still a factor, at least, server side it is.

Thanks for the report, we're aware of this issue and have it on our to-do list to fix as soon as possible.  Note that it is a client-side issue only, but does still cause visual discrepencies in the character's position when viewed from other clients.

Just a quick update to say that this issue has been corrected on Pegasus and will be applied to the live servers as soon as Pegasus has concluded its next testing phase.
