Im sitting on a 150 gene with no eqs.

 

I wanna know whats the gears now? Is it still basically the same with the EMH/Faw/RTE/Valk/E.V/RWX/BDM?

He could probably have sold every gear before quitting and held in zeny.

 

Well, there are couple changes, but mostly the same. The big change is the Temporal Boots (most Geneticists go for DEX with 120 base DEX for the 0,5 second fixed cast reduce) and it's enchants that makes it pretty op.

For leveling, Bio 4 or Bloody Branches I think are the best way for that class, although the second option is super costly.

still never understood why people sell gears when they quit. whenever i don't want to play anymore, i simply stop playing, not have a garage sale

sometimes, people quit for a long time and their gears get outdated. So they choose to sell them for zeny before that happens, and use that zeny to buy updated stuff when they come back

 

for example nid garbs. those were 400m before (when renewal just came). now they're like less than 50m lol people that quit before will appreciate that 400m now than a 40m value nid garb

Those gears are fine. Also work on getting some Temporal boots. 

 

Also start doing the bios quest to get entrance, gene's are nice to have in bios runs!
