need emblem transparency help again.

I've been trying to make this emblems background transparent through gimp and exporting if as windows bmp. But it's not working. Can someone please, make the background of it transparen and 24x24 for me?

anyone willing to help I've tried many attempts but I still can't seem to get rid of the background

It's a very simple process. I gave you all the relevant information the last time you requested this. If you're having that much trouble though, I can do it when I get home later this evening, provided no one beats me to it.

 

Edit:

If you couldn't get the file format right when you were playing with GIMP before, you were probably trying to File>Save, which keeps it in the native format. You need to File>Export. Bitmap is on the list near the bottom.

Don't forget to re-save it as an 8-bit (256 colors) bitmap.

My computer won't let me save it as a bmp when i go to save the file from the site. if i do it though paint i can but then paint says "your item will lose coloration and transparency if you do this"  Not sure what to do.

yea, it also said that when i tried to change it. But dont worry, it will still transparent ingame. not sure what that warning is all about.

The code for the transparency on paint is 255 Red 0 Green 255 Blue.
