DG might work for ctrl-click mob leveling (with a few more AoE autocasts to stack).

Grinding with IB is much easier than ctrl-clicking. RTE + racial Valk or Thanatos Great Sword.

A 1h sword and shield is better for IB because the shield helps you tank mobs. Pretty much all RKs use both two handed and one handed swords so there's really no point in restricting yourself to a two hander

if you use 2hand, wont Thanatos Great Sword is better because of the leeching?

btw, Violet Fear got 75 extra damage, but DG has in build +20 perfect dodge which is the same amount of perfect dodge you get when lucky day proc.

so that will come down to your decision, more damage or more survivability.

^ pretty much that. If you're dead set on using two handed swords a Thanatos great sword would make your life much easier.

I use +11 2xFatal VF Sharp2/Sharp2 for leveling my Phys RK @ LvL132 atm (Relying on autoskill procs esp. Venom Splasher , Assumptio and Heal) . I switch to HF Thana 2handSword when there's too many of them though I have to take off my Advanced Ifrit rings in order to BB+IB and replace them with Bakotattoos
