Ahhh yikes, must be frustrating to go through all the trouble then miss the mark by 1 job lvl.

Imagine when I first posted the guide. People had been telling newbies to go for job50 ALL THE TIME before and everyone who felt like trying needed to make another GX lol.

Yeah, but most people did not.

 

Hell, from the answers I've seen before, it was almost considered heresy to get anything but 50 on a trans char.

gx is still the only class where extra job levels can harm your character.

Yeah the worst part is that I knew to stop at 42. But I calculated the experience wrong on a quest turn in. I forgot to add in the VIP bonus but such is life.

you could have get on with it, change at 50, then do an average katar build. it'll still become a great money maker to farm for your next dd crit char.
