If this game requires a moderately new machine to run, what the hell are the developers thinking not including wide-screen options.
Allow me to provide an example. Visit these websites to see where one might buy a monitor:
http://www.newegg.co...9&name=Monitors
http://www.pricewatch.com/monitors/
http://www.bestbuy.c...id=abcat0509000
http://www.target.co...8&node=10966481
http://www.walmart.c...8_0&ref= 428240
Notice how, for many retailers, ONLY WIDE-SCREEN MONITORS ARE FOR SALE. Wide-screen is the current and future shape of computer gaming (pun intended), and if this game plans to be a continuation for any period of time, wide-screen display options must be included. I would settle with black bars for when not in windowed mode. At present, fullscreen looks like stretched out crap on a wide-screen monitor. Fix it! Now!
I believe this was also mentioned here, among other things: http://forums.warppo...i-can-think-of/
Widescreen.

Most (if not all) modern monitors have a feature where a game is centered and set at a decent size so there's no stretching. That's usually good enough, even if WideScreen could provide a longer field of vision in the game, it's still not as great as having it centered.
more area to see = more frames needed if there's a lot going on(which there will be) = more lag! Yay!
I'd appreciate a feature that allowed me to scroll out more to view more of the surrounding area, though. Asking for a widescreen version might be stretching it a bit too far here.
