As mentioned, which skill is used for MvP hunting? I wonnder which is prioritize first cause most of GXs video for MVP hunting now used dark claw.... I don't know if my eyes see it correctly....

Venom Impress is for a mvp thats neutral to most elements(use enchant poison) dark claw is for everything since it increase your dmg a lot even if the skill misses it will apply the dmg buff. Get Dark Claw ASAP.

Both work. Dark Claw lasts for a shorter period of time, and so it is often the last thing you use before you begin attacking (it's only 5 seconds long.)

 

Venom Impression is only useful on some MVPs (tho it can be VERY useful in some cases, like against ghost 1-2 or earth), and it lasts longer so you can cast it before.

 

I use both, but keep in mind that venom impression requires a poison endowed weapon through 'enchant poison', not EDP but regular enchant poison.

i see, so that means venom impression only works with enchant poison...... so for MVP, Dark claw+ EDP is better i presume. correct if i'm wrong

its not like that

 

u must understand that when MVPing,

 

-EDP is a must

 

-Dark claw will amplify dmg of melee atk for 5secs

 

-enchant poison with venom impress = use the combo to amplify against neutral, ghost property or monsters weak against poison 

 

 

u can use all these 4 skills at the same time on a certain mvp

As Dark Sorrow said, they are not at all mutually exclusive (they all stack), but there are situations where you won't use poison + impression because you're better off with a wind converter or what have you.

 

You'll ALWAYS want to use EDP, and 99% of the time Dark Claw is a great choice too (it does not work with cross-ripper or higher levels of grim tooth.) 

 

Long story short, for MVP, I'd get all of them.

oh i get it now, it's much clearer now to me       no wonder i rarely seen venom impress on MVP nowadays...

Keep in mind that you can only cast Dark Claw in a point-blank range. But it's highly recommended though.

Ghost 1 = 150%
Ghost 2 = 112.5%

Fire 1 = 187.5%
Fire 2 = 187.5%

Earth 1 = 187.5%
Earth 2 = 187.5%

Wind 1 = 187.5%
Wind 2 = 187.5%

 

Poison Enchant + Venom impression has the best results on Lv1/2 Fire/Wind/Earth/Water elements, since their oposite element gonna do just 175%

 

And

 

You gonna use Dark Claw whenever you gonna melee anything, since your melee damage becomes 2.5x, whatever the element.

hello my i know who are these MVP? currently im only doing the OGH run solo whats ur set up to fast kill "Amdarias" no info in db.irowiki.org i think its not updated can i use that venom imp on him?

Amdarais is Undead4, use fire or holy on it.
