Hello guys, just a doubt, sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place, I'm new here.

I have a taekwon character, level 71, I made the 2nd Ur's quest (70~79) at Eden, and when I try to pick up the equipments this message appears: "Hmm, you are eligible to receive equipment. Hmm something went wrong though. I'm not sure what..."

Can someone help me?

He's saying you're trying to get welfare equipment on a challenge run character so it's contradictory.

there's no eligible weapon on the wiki's list for Taekwon Kid.

tkm and linker has rewards.

That would be because taekwon cannot even equip weapons.

But in another quest ... of Boya I got a dagger, I can't use it but I won.

It shouldn't be the same? I want the other equips, not the dagger.

irowiki is down atm so here's a cached version of the page. it's eden gears so you don't get things you can't use. as a tk char you don't get anything, unless u job change first. a TKM gets a dictionary, SL can get dagger/staff. if you're a tae kwon kid you wouldn't get diddly.

besides, the weapons sell for 0 to npc so what's the point in getting a worthless item that just clutters up your inventory?

Are you changing to soul linker, taekwon master, or staying a taekwon boy?

Well being a taekwon ranker means you won't get any weapon you'll ever be able to use.

I hope you realize this is a challenge mode for RO? Its not a starting character. Its for people who've already done the main character lines and need a challenge / side content. Its heavily handicapped on hp, requires hunting monsters you'll have a hard time soloing without personal skill and great equips, and is handicapped by lack of a weapon. The ranking system is a competition with ther players undertaking the same challenge. Do you not see the contradiction that you need newbie gears? I strongly recommend against working on a taekwon ranker until you can gear it yourself with items better than the eden ones. This shoud be a non issue.

If you are not self funded with equips at least slightly better than eden gears, and already experienced with leveling a "core class" to 100+, I do not recommend anyone roll the following job classes:

* Taekwon Kid
* Taekwon Master
* Soul Linker
* Super Novice
* Ninja
* Gunslinger

You could surely make any of these especially with gramps turn in, but you'll be very ineffective with just eden gears and npc bought gears. Its a world apart from core classes like ranger that can do useful damage with npc acquired free gear.

But I like challenges hahaha I already have a baby super novice lv 101

I used to play in bRO and I have a pure forger lv 99/70 there hehehe and there we can't reset the build as iRO

try writing a support ticket and telling the GM team that you are unable to receive Eden armor for doing the quest with instructor Ur; maybe you can get them to spawn that equipment for you instead. The mantle, shoes, and hat are actually pretty much of garbage; so you won't miss them either way; but the body armor itself is pretty useful! Its not super needed though.

Another doubt...do you know if...being a ranker can I change the class to a taekwon master and stay with the ranker's advantages?
