Oda Note: ROSpot is a shop selling RO plush toys and other physical goods, we have been talking with them about providing iRO's community with new plush toy(s). 

 

Hey Guys,

as you may remember: some weeks ago there was a topic on Facebook about the possibility of plush toy production and the question after your favorite plush monster.

Some month/years ago (in 2014) I have posted here in this forum because my company (RO Spot) is cooperating officially with Gravity Europe - we have created a lot merchandise like plushies (Poring, Marin, Deviling, Angeling), Poster, Cards & more.

I have also sent an Angeling and a Deviling to Oda and he was so kind to present them to you - and your feedback was really nice

Today I just would like to introduce RO Spot again with this thread. But instead of telling you a companies story, I would like to show you our current project (and if I am allowed / you are interested: also future projects).

The plush toy we are developing right now is: Deviruchi! Would be really cool to get some feedback from you since this plushie (like all others) will be developed with and from community feedback!

There exist only 2 Deviruchi prototypes right now, but don't worry, we take credit cards!

Just joking: when there is enough feedback we can realize a lot of RO monsters. There is just one thing to mention: it depends on demand since my company has started out of a fan project, RO Spot is no "global player" (yet!) - we have to take small steps^^

The store where you can buy RO-shirts etc.? We are not related to them. Our shop-address can be found in my signature ^^

And since I got the question about shipping costs & shipping duration: costs around 6 $ (depends on exchange rate Euro -> $) and 1 to 3 weeks duration from Germany (a package to Brazil lasted 3 weeks for example).

 

The first ideas were: shipping to customers from Gernany directly and my idea (not planned with iRO yet) shipping a greater contingent for fairs so that you can buy items locally.

Uh RO spot is Ragnarok Online merchandise store. From the looks of the store, they make plushies like the Deviruchi shown above among other RO related stuff. You would have known that if you even read the orignial post first and not interrogate.

With some limitations, we should be able to offer a great percentage of RO-monsters as plush toys. Deviruchi is an example because the drafts have already been created. What would be your favorite monster?

Some background:
The point is: normally there is a minimum number of plush toys which we have to produce in order to get an adequate price. We sell our items online and on Anime & Manga conventions in Europe. Ragnarok is really famous, the majority of visitors tell us: "We have played it!" "We heard about it" and so on. So normally we have to find a middle way: plush toys which look as "RO-like" as they could but which are also interesting for customers who have never heard before about Ragnarok Online.

This was the reason why "Relaxing Kitty" has got similarities with "Wild Rose" but is also a simple "cat plush toy". But: the more Ragnarok fans are willing to get a specific RO plush toy the more we can make them Ragnarok-like without taking the majority of "normal" customers into consideration.

 

By the way: please excuse my school-english, I hope it's at least understandable for you^^

Smokie and Muka would qualify as one of those. For homuncs, Filir and Amistr would be nice too. Having plushies from RO is one way of endorsing the game too!

Im just quite surprised that WP is allowing a RMT here, thats not affiliated with them.

I guess I have to clarify this: of course there will be contracts and iRO & RO Spot will build up a partnership. Don't hesitate to send us your questions, I like transparency and clear words / clear conditions.

Since I brought my company from a fan project to the current state, for me Ragnarok & the community is most important. May sound strange in some way but I have a normal job and I am able to develope my company step by step. I am impatient but not because of economic interest (releasing product after product in order to earn more and more money). Every company needs to generate income, for me an equal value is to keep this game and some day the memory alive

Yr items are awesome. im just a curious.

Cause the ppl here sells their art for zeny not rmt.

And well idk if yr the official ppl im not sure.

But if someone else comes and show their skills for RO cakes etc, for bdays and maybe whatsn't not, in his area for rmt.

Just not sure if it'll be allowed here.

Anyways i'll pm you anything else. before the Forum ppl and comes and drops a bomb without answering me.
