Is the server lagging or am I the only one lagging now?

Any specific map or just an overall connection issue?

I'm lagging on every map, I don't think its my connection issue because I have a good internet connection.

I never face this lag before.

This is the first lag issue in my iRO experience.

Just an overall connection. I felt that the server is lagging quite a bit.

Please provide a tracert in the following format:
Tracert goes here
How to take a tracert:

I've written some clearer and more robust instructions:

 • Press Windows-R (the Windows key and the R key).
 • Type "cmd" and then press enter.
 • Maximise the Command Prompt window that is opened.
 • Enter "tracert playragnarok.com".
 • Wait until tracert has completed. If tracert outputs six lines of asterisks in succession, then press control-C to terminate it.
 • Right-click the window and then choose "select all".
 • Right-click the window again to copy the selection to the clipboard.
 • Paste the copied text into the appropriate place, such as a reply to a support ticket.

Legend471, a good connection does not guarantee smooth responsive times with a game like iRO.
From the log, what you are experiencing is likely due to high latency.

There are two common workarounds that we usually suggest to combat lag, please try them one at a time and see which suits you best.

Leatrix Latency Fix

Is a small application that will assist in reducing game latency, click here for the official website.

Proxy services

Most of the proxy applications require monthly subscriptions but some offer free trial accounts. I highly recommend BattlePing for ease of usage, another suggested service is WTFast.

For technical details about lag issues please read the post here.

None of these work.

Usually when I'm playing any online game, if its lag. My connection graph is higher, that's meant my connection is being used on another place (autoupdate and etc).

But lately, I already off autoupdate, WiFi to only me. and other stuff that might use the connection.

Then I play iRO Chaos. Its still lag, and when I view my connection, my connection graph is at bottom line.

looks like you use wifi. try a hard wired connection and see if it gets better. also, not sure why your first jump timed out completely too; that should usually be the lowest latency jump

Legend471, the lag issue might be regional. Please have the GM staff look at your tracert.

If you are unable to complete the sign quest dance part the GM staff could assist you with it, to request assistance create a support account and submit a ticket. In the ticket body explain your situation and the kind of assistance needed.

How to send a ticket click here.
