are they also gone if you have them equipped? I have one wing equipped and the other one is in my inventory, and I don't dare to try it.

Well, like I said I trust Poppie and so I........"convinced"..........a friend to test it.

 

Testing situation:

 

One weapon (good one - friend calls it) in vault, bad weapon ( bad stats - friend says) in inventory. Grabbing the quest, quest activates itself and turns green and a green "?" appears. Friend cancels quest. Both weapons still where they were.

Now friend put both weapons in the vault and got to take the quest again. Quest taken, but it did not activate itself, still grey. Friend of mine cancels quest again, both weapons are in the vault still.

Now it was time for the "real deal". So friend took out the so called "bad weapon" and put it in his inventory, grabbed the quest again and it turned green again and the "?" appeared. This time my friend completed the quest ( a little more "convincing" was needed though, giggle).

 

Result:

 

Heart thingy in the cons inventory (exactly 1)

Bad weapon in the inventory gone (like it should)

After checking for the one in the vault and it being still perfectly fine in it, my friend took it out and put it on and went farming stuff for another (hopefully even "better" weapon).

 

Didn't test the wings though, wasn't able to find a victi......uhrm......"friend".

But like I said I do trust Poppie and he says he specifically tested the wings above himself and it went all good. So logically if there would be a bug it had hit Poppie too - it hasn't. So I guess the chance there is no bug at all is at 99.99% (if not even higher).

Bug like that wpuld be very unlikely, I don't think there's a mechanic in the game that takes to account the items in your vaults in quests or anything else in the game.

Quite a significant trade off we have here, I'm sure some people will lose their valuables, but it's worth it in the end. Their foult for not reading the forums!

So after some testings I can confirm that this type of quest works like the following (we didn't really know about this behavior):

 

Let's assume you have 4 weapons, one equipped, two in your inventory and one in your vault.

 

You accept the quest "Smuggled Hearts". It will be completed and at first the quest takes one weapon from your inventory.

You accept the quest again. It will be completed and the next weapon from your inventory is gone.

If you now accept the quest again, the quest takes the weapon which is in the vault.

After accepting the quest for the 4th time, the quest completes and takes away the weapon in your hand.

 

But this happens ONLY if you have a PoS weapon in your hand. If you have PoS weapons only in the vault, the quest doesn't complete.

Same behavior applies to the Wings. The wings in the vault are safe as long as you don't have PoS wings equipped.

 

This is a behavior we didn't expect. I will try to change it the way that it only takes the one from your inventory in the future. But this a bit tough and I hope you guys can be patient and deal with the small rules how to use this quest until then.

 

I will make a small video soon for better explanation.

 

Finally, it's only partly a bug. But definitely a strange behavior.

 

PS: Fliederduft78 is right - as long as you don't have PoS Weapon or Cape equipped the stuff in the vault is safe.

Hello Dragon Saga Friends!

 

The fix for the Smuggler Shady quests is ready and will be very likely implemented by tomorrow.

After the fix the Smuggler will only accept PoS weapon/cape which resides in your inventory. Equipped/Vaulted items stay untouched.
