Ragexe.exe has stopped working

This words keep appearing.... So, i cannot open RO..

Is it after patching and hit PLAY then nothing popped up and not even error message?

If so, it will be same as mine...

Yes, after patching and hit PLAY. The words just popped and suddenly the game close

Mine not even popped up and therefore no game needed to be closed.

Renewal servers went under a quick maintenance today to address some of Rebel patch issues, please close all of your game clients and run the patcher as Administrator.

Let us know if you are still having the crash error.

I have the same problem, it started after the patch on the mini maintenance like Dong30 said, I already tried what Campitor suggested but still the same thing. I'm using windows 10 64 bits

Need to know if you have the proper Visual C++ version installed.
 

For Windows 10:

  1. Go to Control Panel > Uninstall a Program under Programs tab.
  2. Check in the installed programs list if you have any Microsoft Visual C++ installed, if you do please list them here.

 

Let's also check the size of your game executable files.

 

  1. Browse your Ragnarok folder
  2. Hold SHIFT + Right-click in the folder's empty space and choose "Open command window here".
  3. In the Prompt cmd window type the following: dir ragexe.exe *.dll data\*.dll > filelist.txt
  4. The filelist.txt will be saved to your Ragnarok folder with details, private message me the text file contents in spoiler tags.

Are you all running the game client from Steam or installed the game from Steam?

For now I am collecting and forwarding the logs and data for analysis.

No, I downloaded it from http://www.playragna...ntdownload.aspx , downloaded the client installer and installed. Everything was working, even after the major update implementing the Rebel class, but after today's small update I keep getting the ragexe.exe has stopped working error when I open the client and click on Play. 

 

PS: This is the last post I can make, maybe because I am new in the forum and I can get only 3 posts until tomorrow.

Double posting for an update:

Based on Dibigi logs there is a conflict between an overlay application with iRO, the application for this case is RivaTuner Statistics Server.
Disabling the application resolved the crash error. 

 

If you have something similar to this application please try to disable or uninstall temporarily and see if the crash issue is resolved.

I got the same problem here on my PC after rebel patch

here is my system info:

window 7 64bit SP1

 

problem still exist even i reinstall the program or repatch

 

and my desktop can work as normal

here is the system info:

window 8 64bit

 

please help!

I've the same problem. I was using manual patch from 2012ish installer, then I tried dling latest installer, still didn't work, win7 64 bit SP2.
