2. i didnt wrote its 1v1 but comy is for only 1v1 not tank battlefields if you want tank it change to prot

all class can be good when you play good! the problem is you both are pay2win players and never farmed just want to be stronger

Lol. Googo. nonsense . really : try to play a prot. No. at this point not all classes can be good even when playing good. but yes , it SHOULD like back "then".
And trust me : i am a farmer. i farm the hard way with my main , my prot , for YEARS. won't change FACT. there is 0 way to match certains casters even half geared compared to me. and by "matching" i don't even mean "win" but just "survive" long enough or escape.
A TANK as you said it shouldn't be an easy dead meat like it is for so many casters now. Or nerf drastically casters 's hp , def and block and let's talk again...pfff c'mon.
Why change to protector? So you can last 3 seconds instead of 2? (1 second if you have full dmg gear)
Also if you're comparing a commander with all trh enchants and perfect gear, then compare it to a mage of the same level/gear, who will have orn/gear for resist, as well as cap defense when need be. I live on the battlefield, and regardless of rush/retreat strategy it doesn't matter when several people are hitting for 3k+ on their pew pews. Step in an aoe and forget about it.
That said, commander is for tanking, at least off tanking, the devs have even stated it as so. What the hell's my shield for if not tanking? Decoration? I guess technically you're right since it works barely better than the mage version.
All classes can be decent when played well. But common now. Avenger/Mystic? Defiler/Anything? Balanced?

especially if commie and prot both get increased shield damage block

i know a few commies who do alright, but considering how much they spent on their gear, they should be doing much better.
lets just put it this way, i was using a saker with 20k hp and 1k defense, and managed to get 29-1 in foc.
swapping to a commie with 5k defense, cap resist all, and 40k+ hp i got 5-9 best case.
swapping to a prot with cap defense, cap resist, 55k hp, best case was 11-3 and thats cuz i had a 5 minute pb.
im not saying a prot should have massive kills, but jesus i shouldnt have to play like a rad. or avoid nearly everything with commie.
if you remember i asked for that too months ago. But we all know that is useless asks... improve the specific aspect of shield wearers... just same old dumb skills. cause they just matter for casters as somebody (bloody ? can't remember) said somewhere else.

It really depends who is in an foc. If you have decent heals and a good dpser commanders can do alright(with costly gear) and mop up some kills, but if there are any decent people on the other side pfft. Youre dead before you can do anything.
With over 40k hp and even 160% res (in case of debuffs) I still exploded in under 5 seconds. But those 20-2 focs are fun, they just dont happen as much no more with all the mdc junk.
Protectors are just lol. Lol is all I can think to say at this point. Sad that one of my favorite classes has been reduced to a needless class.
yup they turned us in an utterly joke ...no resist and no heals can balance dps. cause theses guys forget to mention an important aspect except pure damage ( and "leech" for you know what ) : the COOL DOWN and the RANGE. with the same speed running and a poor 3 sec stuns you can't manage a pew pewer moving with a machine gun speed . and that was BEFORE the DEF BUFF. now they don't even have to flee . they leech faster than you damage them.
You will say : well , prot is not defi chaser. i am TOTALLY agree . ever been. but point is : it's not about hunting them. it's about not tanking anything at all anymore while THEY turn tank because of leech and def. Can't imagine somebody sane in mind say that is legit.
And back in years we could at least manage zerks , sins , domis and else . not it's a hard task for perma crowd with zerk and a domi i know don't even have to pay total attention to the fight for an easy win

Ok , sins that are our usual "baits" are still possible to manage despite crazy MDC duals dps. But we could consider the speed of their dps still too high for a good blocker after all if we consider it's the only specificity that remain to us on the pvp aspect.
won't talk about SR , avenger , ranger and commie : they have the same disease as us. forgotten by devs.

sad to say . But what did you expected seriously ? back from my xmas "forced" afk since one week and i had no mood to connect on game on such a period. they broke our hopes EACH TIME for two years now. maybe more , can't even remember. The last move that prevent me from the will of coming back this last week is the number of points needed for thier weapon enchants while we are not even sure they are working good and can match with the classic ones. Even if i still know i didn't reach my objectives at all and theorically still want to, it's really not attractive to log in again when i follow forums topics that revealed what happen there... 
I agree with war, to balance Elem with Defiler, attack of curse need a 1 second stun too (that stun bosses too), and for pve, more leech as suggested, since elems with their drain healing over 7k , too unfair for Attack of Curse! Hahahaha
Then add a dash and a reflect and balance is done
