Announcement: Due to the holiday and a shorter week for us we are doing this week's maintenance on Tuesday instead of Wednesday! This maintenance is scheduled for 1pm-6pm PST

 

Maintenance changes to Thursday afternoons in 2016!

 

From 10am PST Wednesday on Classic server, I'll be talking with the Classic community at Asgard Village and making plans for Classic improvements starting in the new year 

 

Continuing events: 

VIP EXP bonus continues

Introduced last week, the 180 day VIP+ points plan is available again in client and on Steam, and we have an increased bonus when converting 2500 or more WPE to KP! Both promotions last until  January 4th

Woe Report:-

 

Everyone was too bitchy about the changes and didn't show up for woe. But that didn't stop them from QQing about it, as usual.

Auto-pot users are still hanging in there, but now they are using much more supplies and much more evident.

I'd rather see some sort of in-game event or quest that gives us a bit of EXP and something to do rather than a universal rate boost though.

 

We're already double vanilla rates with a whole bunch of custom things to expedite leveling. We don't need to push people to 99 any faster.

1 - Red Beret [1] un-account bound or reimplementing the quest please for New Years! =)

2 - Chocolate Donut lower headgear fix please... The Donut in Mouth works, but the Chocolate one does not.

3 - Please make sure Thors is working because Stellar day was very, very sad. Too laggy and it was awful.

4 - Agreed to extend Santa Claus coming... alot of travel/family events going on it would be nice to extend it

Whatever event for woe, make sure there's reward to compensate the supplies. It doesn't have to be god's material and ocas, perhaps something fun such as mid range headgears with no stats, or gsbs.

No rewards for wasting supplies is not a good way to motivate people, and with the changes in, supplies are used MUCH more.

It's probably because those changes are a pretty bad idea, there is a reason Gravity made a balance patch for WoE a long time ago, it's called KVM, you can read up on it, it's on the internet - any other changes are just really breaking the game, i mean thats why the official programmers decided KVM was a good idea, coming up with those half assed changes will just lead to a 5min siege, at the end people will grab forts and thats it and that will only last for a while until the server slowly dies, happened to other servers as well.

 

On the other side what i really liked about that "event" WoE - Abysslake was entirely empty - good exp for everyone! =)

time zones are the worst. i probably won't even be able to log in tonight, esp with an extended maint to put in event woes and xmas event. if the xmas event doesn't even make it in, then...i'll be a saaaaad panda.

I like changes that lead to better gameplay, the imposed changes don't lead to that, they are at best to be considered short sighted and irreversibly reducing the servers population if at all possible, but if you prefer playing on an empty server those changes just might be the ones you're looking for.

Well every server that hasn't be changed is doing absolutely fine, isn't it. Just look at iris or ygg or.... oh.

 

 

 

Just try it for a while, they can undo it later. We already played under non-vanilla redux without knowing for a year+ and apparently that was ok.
