Scamming vendor problems

Technically this method isnt scamming but is used intentionally to rip off people .
So i wanted to submit a proposal, because alot of people like i vend 24/7 . Allow buyers to rate vendors , not the specific vend, but the vendor as a whole . This could be implemented by using a simple vendor "star" rating like they would hotels etc . Later on maybe even and items sold per month count etc . I do also see problems that could occur from my idea , but thought id put it out there for the professionals . Im sure they can improvise on this idea at least .
Feel free to bash on my idea below ^^ , thanks for time .

Nope. NOT a good idea, and if you'd like a reason simply look at the old 'rating' system we had on the forums. People would get down-voted for the most trivial reasons like disagreements, bullying, or in an effort to have that person be permanently discredited. The same would happen to vendor shops by the larger vendors logging alt after alt to down-vote anyone who isn't a friend or one of their own shops.
In short, it's abuse-able. The best course of action is to learn to count.

@ OP
I don't agree also with your proposal, like you said, you see lot of problems with it, and as Feuer mentioned, it will only be abused, yea the best thing to do is to study the whole market, and always make sure you double check before you buy or sell. Have a great day!

I agree, this would not be good, for as Feuer said, people would just down vote whoever they don't like.
Good intentioned idea, but would not work.
