right now i currently just use my main imp spear but I was curious since there are some spears with 2 slots

is there any spear in particular you guys use to stack race cards in

 

same question for shields..I currently use rosa shields but curious what you guys prefer

Mostly AS for Cannon Spear and Banishing or AK for MVPing. Overbrand is really strong so normally I do not need any other extra % card, even if I have a general TG Hunting Spear with FS Enchants.

But you could always make multiple FS Enchanted Hunting Spears (really cheap) with your prefered Race% card or more generally 1x with Skel Worker and one with a Minorous.

Gungnir with 2x AS/AK Cards and EA Enchants is great also even for Royal Guard. 2x Petite Gaebolg for Dragons and Dragon MVPs.
If you are maining your Royal Guard and you plan to get MVP cards, consider Zephyrus [3] as an option.

 

Normally, you dont need any Hunterfly Cards as a RG so I dont even consider them here in this list.

thanks for the feedback i wouldnt have ever considered zeph...also do ak's cards stack?

thank you again its been a lil hard to get feedback for RG related questions and yea i plan to make it my main since its my highest lvl char atm

Yes they do. Look for "card stacking effects" or "weapon card stacking" in forums to know how to calculate it exactly/correctly. There should be multiple threads and posts here explaining it.

just out of curiousity how well do you think a gungnir with 3 pecopeco eggs cards would do against big bells in clocktower..my damage currenlty is pretty low against these high hp mobs so i have to ob them like 6 times lol just looking for alternatives

Gungnir actually Slot enchanted at Seiya-/ or Leyablem can get just 2 Slots, not 3.
Gungnir is naturally Wind property but thats okay for Big Bells because they are Formless Race and Neutral element.

 

The Damage from Gungnir [2] 2x Peco Egg (140 ATK) and Hunting Spear [1] 1x Peco Egg (180 ATK) should be almost the same. Both can be Malangdo Enchanted with FS (Overbrand is your main DMG skill i assume). Gungnir would be good for the 25% Perfect Hit though.

Or do you mean the Zephyrus? The Zeph (FS Enchanted) would deal better damage then Gungnir and the Hunting Spear on same Refine level.
