In the last two days I have reduced my upper and lower armor parts by no fault of my own. Ticket is sent, waiting on response.

--------

The problem:

Character items (the actual items on your character's back) are getting reduced when they are not the ones being loaded into the item reduction window.

Cause:

There is an error with the item reduction tool, I can't explain why it happens but it does. I don't know if the game thinks I am double clicking an item after I have already successfully loaded that item in to the item reduction window and just before/after I click the Reduction button.

How it happens:

When I physically drag a monster drop item from my inventory bag into the item reduction window it shows up just fine and in the instant that I hit the reduction button it gets switched out with the item in my Character window and reduces that instead. Makes absolutely no sense but it has happened to me twice now in two days. Rough estimate I would say this bug occurs 1 in 10000 item reductions clicks of mostly monster armor drops.

Offered Solution:

An "Item Lock" Button must be added to the Character window. Once engaged then nothing can be switched out until it's unlocked. It's a very simple idea, I don't how much code it would take for you guys to figure out but it seems simple enough and then I can stop writing tickets because your game lost another item of mine. You can even reuse that "Short-cut Lock" button and just add an extra controller function for Character window items.

Please restore my items and address this in-game issue with a solution to prevent this.

Good luck... It took them over 2 MONTHS to restore my 1 item. I even provided SS and time/place.  What they should do it make ALL Reinforced/Enchanted items unable to be SOLD/REDUCED. They could add in a special "vender" that will allow you to sell the said item.

Will they ever do this? NOPE.

I like this idea. Another one that I mulled over earlier today was instead of using Double Click to swap gears, use Shift + Double Click to add an extra step. This would require a simple remapping of the swap-click system so almost no coding involved and would basically fix this issue if in fact it is a double-click issue.
