Reading through the whole botting post macro keyboards / mice was never really listed there. So what I want to know is if I'm actively playing and I just have a macro set up to cast my aoe's / shield spikes on correct rotation would still be bannable (would be impossible to tell) I just am curious if that would be a bannable offence as I still would be playing moving ect just pushing 1 button to do my aoe's.

It depends how you have it functioning, but for the most part it's allowed assuming you have to press the keybind, and the macro only casts 1 action.

May you bind M4 to F1. Yo have to press M4 to cast the action tied to F1.

But, if you build a script* where M4 casts F1, pause, F2, pause, F3. Then you've officially 'automated' the process and that's where the rules get broken.

The point of banning botting + macro's is the automation of tasks that allow you to either not have control of your character, or provides an abnormal advantage over other players who don't use them.

So, if you're only using the extra action buttons for single key casting, then it's fine. But if you tie an automated script to it, you've now broken the rules.

it feels like rose should implement macros. aoe is seriously the most boring skill set ever in existence. same to buffing.

That means it's not fun. That leads me to believe they should be removed, not automated.

There's no sense 'playing' a game, if you're not going to PLAY it. Staring at a macro interface doesn't sound fun either.

and if part of the argument that leveling is boring without AoE'ing then the leveling fluidity needs to be improved.

furthermore, for those who just straight up don't like leveling, I propose Gravity implement a paid service to boost a character to max, with a good price tag. Say 50$'s.
