Today I saw a fast moving Homunculus during their attacks ,(I was wondering if it is some configuration AI or Bot??)

nope, basically homunculus takes the speed of its owner.
i.e. if you summoned your homun when you are buffed with geneticist cart boost; it too will take that status.
to do it:skill vaporized>GCB>call homun

This or replace GCB with Speed Potion if you're an Alchemist or Biochemist.
