It has been decided using a name is less "clinical" than using a plain number for example. The vmods are known with their names instead of being only a number. You can better keep them in mind. The food scheme has been chosen because it connects all people in a non-offending way. Everyone has to eat.

If I ever get a VMod position, I shall be known as VModFondue.
It's good to have a VMOD who knows a lot in game and experienced enough when it comes to pvp. Just saying. No offense to other mods.
