I'm asking because I'm wondering if replacing a Cenere Card in my FAW with Petal will make it possible for me to keep 193 ASPD if I buy a +1 ASPD Rudra Costume.

 

According to iRO wiki calculator, it doesn't seem so.  It's telling me that 12% aspd is the same as +1 from 192 to 193 which seems low for a % aspd.  Is this correct?

I could replace it with a +11 IRE and a +1 ASPD Rudra for a total of +3 ASPD. 

 

But is the dmg lost from Eddga that much less than the damage gained from Petal?

what is your faw's enchants? maybe keep cenere and just put fatal enchants on it? (keep the aspd+1 on last slot)

 

Edit: what upgrade is Eddga? crit dmg is permanent so unless you really cant reach 193 get IRE. PS: Costume aspd is a must.

+12 Eddga is good, on Amdarais i seen damage go from 15k(17k Crit) to 25k(28k Crit) once it proc. That was with this particular ranger stacking a ton of ASPD Gears.. imagine if he got rid of the ASPD gears and used +20Foods+more Damage gears he would be doing soo much more damage, but that's his playstyle. +11-+13 IRE is worth it to have in my opinion. there is no set default gear.. list me the gears you are currently using with ASPD you have with Buffs i can give you a pretty accurate rundown on what you could replace

My FAW is ASPD +1/AD4/AD4 with Cenere

 

I'm only using a +9 Eddga

 

 

 

I can get to 193 ASPD now without costume ASPD, but I'm trying to figure out how to increase my dmg once I do get the costume +1 ASPD.  

 

Getting a Fatal3/Fatal3/ASPD+1 FAW is a good idea since it would increase my dmg by 16%, but it would also decrease my attack speed by 16%.  I don't think +1 ASPD will make up for that.  I'd probably need to get a Bako Tattoo also.

I want to figure out how to increase my damage while keeping my ASPD and Crit.  I don't like to rely on foods or buff scrolls.  One way I thought was to buy a +1 ASPD costume and somehow change other things to deal more damage.  Not sure though.

+20 Agi food would boost ASPD by about 2.. but if you refuse to use any then i suggest replacing the 2 AD with Fatal and get Bako Tattoo instead.. The wings could also potentially cover the 2 AD enchants as well ASPD% isnt really reliable imo

Thanks!  I thought this would be the easiest way to increase my damage.  Beyond that I can't really think of anything else.  Can you?

 

Also how do FAW reenchants work?  I've actually never done it myself.  Can I only reset certain ones or do I have to reset it all?  How many tries would it take to get my desired enchant?

You have to reset them all but it shouldn't take more than 25m to get what you want

Resetting FAW enchants removes all current ones the number to perfect enchant depend you luck can take 1 or can take 40+

It's really that easy to get the +1 ASPD?  What are the success rates?

Believe me its not that hard compared to other enchanting. its been a while since i've had a FAW but when i did enchant them when they first came out it was easy to get what you wanted

Get your aspd costume & 1 bako tattoo if you can.

R u really gonna use Oda Balloon? Don't think the +1% Aspd is all worth it. Jiin Marin methink is the best lower headgear.

 

Btw, noob question: how much agi points are needed for a +1aspd?

I think it is.  The more ASPD% you stack, the more effective it is.

That's true but imo +1%aspd cannot compare to the value of +5atk,+5matk,+1int, and +1dex in one. I mean, you're missing out on a lot of good stuff by focusing much on that +1%aspd. Your call tho.

You are forgetting 99LB, that is a really good lower headgear as well, if not better than the Jinn Marin :X

That really helped me a lot in my build

As for me, a single 10% raises my attack speed from 190 to 193

Im more on % aspd gears but am able to use +12 WDEH and no, i dont stack 100% apsd
