This is quite a problem for severals months since I installed my GTX 960. The graphics is awesome with other 3D games and can hit 60-80 fps. But in RO, the graphics became very cartoon-y and my emoticons are barely showing in the screen. I didn't bother to fix it until now because I can still play the game. But i want to fix it now though.

I am using:

1. Windows 10 pro 64 bit

2.Palit Super Jetstream GTX 960 2GB

3. AMD a10 7700k

4. 1680x1050 windows mode game screen (Can hit full HD 1920 x 1080, but i want to see my desktop taskbar so yeah)

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

This is a known issue with Maxwell based nVidia GPUs (750-900 series), the current work around is to launch the client and enter the Windows security screen by pressing Ctrl Alt Del and then just hit Esc or Cancel to exit the screen. If all goes well RO should look more normal.

Oh! I had the same issue and I didn't know it was because of my GTX 970 card. I just thought it was because of 1080p.

I am glad I ran into this thread.

Are you talking about the random black spots, random discoloration on ground textures and messed up emotes? There is nothing you can do about those, it's just a problem with nvidia cards.
