Rolling new AB after a long rest, looking at guide only to see conflicting fact in a freaking same page.

first it say "The level of the user's learned Kyrie Eleison skill does not influence this in any way."

 

then at bottom it say "Kyrie Eleison base shield def + [(Number of Party Members x 2)]%."

 

what a nonsense. So which one is true?

Hello and welcome to AB'ness after your extended break........

First you seem to have been oblivious to this part of the skill description, "The effect will block up to 30% of a target's maximum HP in damage".

 

Secondly, the bottom refers to an added bonus to the Praefatio skill, the base KE effect of Praefatio is 30%, so therefore simply replace it as such, "30% base shield def + [(Number of Party Members x 2)]%."

 

Hopefully that answers your question.
