Maelstrom = small range of ME?????

as far as theif classes go:
gx: that delay can kill you, cant spam rc.
sc: not as terrible as gx, but you cant cast feint bomb on top of maelstrom. So there is that.

Genetic maybe but i feel still get meteor storm damage after that small ME cast

can confirm, useless against bako, splash still hits you

He's not trolling. I kinda had that experience while i was killing Kraken. Maelstrom proced and somehow earthquake missed me.

once i dualed AB and wanderer in temple of demon god instance, i actively played my AB and left my wandy AFK in gipsy kiss and swing dance (shw was using maelstorm pendant). When morrocc used EQ, my wandy procs the maelstorm and evaded ALL wave of EQ while my AB died miserably.

 

then i tried to convince myself. i took my chaser, fought some golem morocc incarnations, bring them at 10% HP to trigger EQ. i painted maelstorm manually while golems was casting EQ. tadaaa...i evaded all wave of their EQ.

 

TL;DR: NP Shadow Chaser for ET and bloody branch runs

tested it on pvp but unfortunately couldnt quite proc it well enough even with two WLs. I guess bako's meteors are just so damn concentrated and numerous that the continuos cast delay proc (not even gonna call it mael proc /heh) makes the  pendant a liability instead
