I really love seeing people's Works In Progresses.

I have ...um, I guess 3. XD Idk if I'll ever pick them back up though LOL. And I probably won't be picking up drawing again for a while. But who knows. I am thinking about working on some guild art/art for my friends though...

these are mine. currently working on KamiKali's commission and a tarot project we'll be selling soon here (and online) once we finished the major arcana (or half!) 

the last one's just for my DA id-- i work on it every now and then for practice (during small snippets of time at work that i feel tired on my asset and sneak some practice LOL)

yes it is~! and I have been fooling around with mute and more vibrant colors lately heh

and yes I do paint over the lines, I actually do everything on one layer (well two since I try to keep background separate some times I do merge it all together though)

i do that too if im not using anime style. but sometimes it rebounds on me when i need to revise stuff xD

also I am curious as to what programs people use!! if you post WIPs think it would be possible to also post what program you are using? love knowing what can be done in all programs~! I use photoshop (thinking about trying other programs too but not sure what yet...)

photoshop/ SAI/ Medibang paint pro

 

photoshop = colors/ tweaking

SAI = draft / lineart

medibang = manga style art/ lineart

Omigosh *-* You guys are amazing!! I love the look of unfinished work LOL. Knowing how it will become like is very inspiring. And wtf Char, done with a mouse? That's incredible!!~

@Kitty~ I only have the old version of Sai. I still have lots to learn. Coloring is like my biggest weakness. :c

Just pen tool and rough sketch with mouse. and detailing with erasing manually using mouse as well.

because my mouse doodles ages ago didn't reach that point haha. yours is very detailed and clean. TuT heck my lassoing skills in ps sucks because of shaky hands

It happened to me too. That's why i use illustrator and make line art and coloring it with pen tool and dots.
But well..i still lack of something during the coloring XD

Amazing WIPs we got here.

 

Sharing a WIP way back in 2013 that I wasn't able to finish coz hair strands were so difficult to do with just a mouse and got too lazy to get back to it (hair, clothes, and whatnot) when I finally got my pentab. xD This was done in PS.

Thanks. it's a project file that have gathered dust over the years and it was done on PS portable coz I didn't have CSP back then. Already oblivious of most of the PS functions but I think I was able to do the patterns on her bandana thru the "patterns" option? I actually don't think I can do anything like this again if I'm asked to do it. I made this while watching a tutorial on how to paint skin. Shame that I lost all zeal to finish this and the rest of my 2013 non-RO WIPs. I have to point out tho that there are some elements in that art that came from google search and belong to their righful owners like the symbol/patterns and the base of the bird.

Nice WIP as expected, bro. Hope to see you more active in the art forums. ^^
