Hey guys, currently I'm using a +7 Triple Kingbird RTE for leveling.

Looking to create some self-sufficient leveling gear to reduce on pots.

Additionally, the Thanatos Axe has 300 attack, but then prevents me from equipping a shield.

Would that extra 120 atk over the Thanatos hammer make up for the extra dmg taken? (Intending on using a shield with Hodremlin card in it)

I'm also open to other suggestions. I know the rideword hat exists(And the incredibly more expensive vanagard or whatever it's called hat), but currently use a +9 CoD of Caster which really helps with the cast time.

For those who are currently using any of those weapons, would you recommend a hunterfly card for it?

Thanks a bunch!

EDIT: The sowrd is for RG/RK only. Dumb. Genes use swords too!!!!

i prefer hammer since u not get size pinalty damage much as axe and u can use shield too

rudolf is good headgear u can use carrot which is cheap and get increase agi which is high chance. just becareful usually on march rudolf lose it effect become half healing power llose chance to proc increase agi

Never seen a Gene with a leech weapon to be honest.

I think that if you really need it, then go with the Mace as Lite Adi said.
The Axe is more of a Mecha weapon. I do have like double amout of HP (not exactly x2 but like 15k more then with my gene with almost same setup) and a lot more DEF with my Mecha. I am currently using the Thana Axe with HF card with my ASPD Mecha and I am really confident with it.
But for gene, I would use the Mace + Shield though.

The best pot aide right now in my opinion is Trans Candy Yellow. It basically turns pumpkins into slim whites, and it stacks with witch's pumpkin hat combo as well.

Will the CC damage be fine if you replace it with leeching gears?

I understand that surviving endless mob is important but would it take longer to kill mobs if ya end up using other gears ?

I default leeching gears for both my genes in instances, and yeah I barely pot.

Don't think my CC dmg is shabby with about 70k in faceworm mobs and about the same for ogh mobs (normal), 150k (boss)

If you can test everything, use which set of gears suits you better.

If you ask me what i usually see: i usually see ppl using one of the Twins Naght swords[AS3] (mostly the RTE for the damage, and sometimes the BTE for the element)+shield, or Erde+shield, or Byeollungum+Shield(mvp only?). Sometimes i see ppl using HurricaneFury too.

If you ask me what i use: I leveled my gene with a +9HurricaneFury[AK]EA6, and the only leech gear i have ever used was the Rideword hat, but i don't rely on it for my hp, it was mostly for the sp, i usually switch to pumpkin hat, recover my hp, and switch back to rideword. Currently i have a +9HurricaneFury[AS]EA8.

Then you will say, "but with HurricaneFury you can't use shield". So, for leveling up a gene i recommend to have a Sera with PK, it may reduce the damage of most monsters to 1, ofc u may have a garment with raydric card to help, also the higher lv ur sera the better. You can use a +9HurricaneFuryEA8 with either card you want(AS,AK,HF), it may still do a great damage on common monsters. In my opinion, it is one of the strongest weapons for a Gene (you just gotta get a higher upgrade, EA12 enchant and a good card to beat mjolnir->from what i've heard).

If you want to every normal monster you ever fight (before lv150) have its damage reduced to 1 with PK  you may use shield (i'm saying this 'cuz i had to use shield to fight mobs of Dolomedes, even with PK). Now, if you ask me the best weapon to be used with a shield, i don't really know.

When i was fighting Dolomedes, my PK reduced like 900 damage i think, and i had a +8RTE[AS3] and a +9HurricaneFury[AK]EA6, a FAW EA10[with that card that increases ranged every 10 dex], and a +9[Raydric]Nidhogur Garb. if i use HurricaneFury+Nidhogur, a single dolomedes would hit 1~100, and a mob of them would hit nearer the 100's. I would hit around 15k on them tou. For HurricaneFury+FAW, i would hit around 20k on them, they would hit harder on me, i don't remember how much exactly. If i use RTE+InsectShield+Nid, mobs of dolomedes would constantly hit 1, but i would hit 10k~12k on them. If i use RTE+Shield+Faw, i would hit around 15k on them, a single one i think would hit 1, but a mob could achieve 50~100 damage per atk idk.

I think the best would be a +9HurricaneFury[AS for leveling/AKfor MvP](EA8+)+[Raydric]FAW EA10, which are my current gears. With a lv150 sera, you would get 1k reduction, and you would probably be good to level up on most places till 150.

For MvP, HurricaneFury[AK] if u have tanker, if you don't, Erde[AK2]+shield[racial or alice] or Byeollungum+shield[racial or alice] are what i see most (ofc upgraded and enchanted).

Idk if you should consider much what i'm saying 'cuz i'm kinda "noob" still. But if you wanna know, i have a guild mate that uses a +15HurricaneFury[AK]EA12, he's lv175, i think he uses runaway magic temporal dex boots, FAWEA10, etc. when the runaway magic actives he can hit 250k with CC on beelzebub.

Well, as long as you have PK, i think you can level up with almost anything, GL on your research
