Hello,

I have been playing iRO again since last one week and noticed that I have been having some issues with my 1080p monitor and game settings.

1. The game looks very pixelated on my screen. I toned down the resolution and it looks file but the UI (specially the minimap) looks very tiny. Is there a way to increase the size of the mini-map. I have to stare at it to know where my party members are in the map or I miss out small mini-map details.

2. I cannot find a borderless window option. Alt-Tabbing feels like a pain in Fullscreen, since it does not switch back and forth easily. Plus it is very bothersome with my two monitor setup.

Can someone help me figure out how to solve these issues?

Thank you

if the game looks pixelated, then most likely it's running on full screen but on a lower resolution. adjusting to higher resolution will make you have a smaller UI. i have the same struggle although it's somehow less troublesome because i am playing on a bigger screen.

afaik there is no borderless window for RO1. i hope they implement it.

No. I am sure that it was running on 1080p initially and was wondering why the game looks so weird at that resolution.

I'm also having graphical issues with my new computer, and i think onlywhen im using two screens. I dont want to play in fullscreen because it messes upa lot of stuff but i have a very pixelated and strange effect on my iro as well.

If it is indeed the same effect, then try what basicly is the easiest way for me to fix it: ctrl-alt-del and then just press cancel to go back. For some reason that fixes it completely for me most times, as long as im fully logged in to my char and let the game load everything.

Sometimes if i do it too fast after logging in i get weird graphical glitches on some spelleffects etc. And if its not the same problem, then sorry for wasting your time :(

Try googling RoExt (No RMS links on the forums). I use that to play RO on a 50inch screen just fine.
