Hey guys, its me Turp ;)

Say do you know an Invoker who plays this class in a cool way? Or is it all about freeze catch and x-spam.

I even found a Summoner whos able to play this class without Smartshot and Dark Knight in 1o1 and it was still fun for both sides. Sadly invoker got no real stunning skill, and witch curse + barbarian seems to be the only 2 catching skills beside the awakening ones (which got a long animation).

Additionally xspam seems to be the only way to deal good dmg.. So idk, is there any pro Invo, or is it impossible to play this class in different styles duo to the lack of good skills?

The skill of an invoker is determined by the accuracy in which you land barbarian. Doesn't matter if you do an unorthodox combo, the invoker with the skills to land a barbarian with high accuracy is the best invoker in the game, that invoker who can land the barbarian will have the best chance to do an unorthodox combo in the first place since it gives him more room to work with.

Not really.

Fortress: no damage, skill shot
Air launch: no damage, near impossible to hit on a moving target that pvps
Relaunch: why are you knocking people down in the first place
Air combo-lightning: only 3 hits on launched enemies, no damage
Diffusion cannon x spam: you apparently don't want to x spam
Fire rain: Low damage adds burn
Barbarian: apparently freezing takes no skill and you don't want to use it
Witches curse: any skill removes this and you won't use barbarian, so useless
Lightning tackle: slightly launches enemies into the air, no damage
Double shot: x spam, not needed
Chain lightning: people can walk out of it, no damage hard to hit more than 2 hits
Spark rock: takes a bit of time to cast and no one is stupid enough to walk into it unless you manage to freeze them in place
You tell me how to combo as priest. Cause I can't find any that suits your style within this skill pool.
You can either hit the players with fire of rain and then run around (you will kill no one)
You can launch enemies and spam air lighting (you will kill no one)
You can x spam after freezing them (you can kill if you are good enough)

Truh. Man, invokers are so op but not fun at all. Warlocks got great skills to combo but no good catching skills. They should mix those classes a bit.
Or lower the freeze duration of barbarian to like 1 sec and add some more usefull skills.
Warlocks at the other hand should get a faster time freeze animation. Compareable with Overlords stumble, maybe only a tick longer.
And BAM both classes are fun to play again.
Or what du you guys (Agitodesu) think?

Welp, I like the sorcerer as it is right now. They do not need that much a catching skill since there is the Z combos, but you might avoid enemies' skills before (at least for 1vs1 or 2vs2.)

For the big team PvP, sorcerer can make a blast into the opponent team, as long as they stay with their team.

As for the invokers, I don't like them. So my opnion would be quite useless.

Well, i know that its technically possible to win a 1o1 with Sorcerer. Met a guy who plays this class like a god. But its still very much like mind reading since you dont got a skill to go offensive and have to wait until you opponent get bored or makes a mistake.
Coz if you dont want to get catched by a Sorcerer you wont get catched.

(Un)fortunately, every classes can catch more or less easily with some move speed.

Well since the skill of a invoker is determined by how he hits barbarian it can be interpreted the invoker is as good as much lags he has since lags give him an advantage at hitting barbarian? :D

Yes really. Gameplay using only knockdowns, flinches, launches, basic attacks, and nab skills is more than possible with all classes; you just need to be creative and put a lot more effort into keeping hold of a player since this type of gameplay is usually not involving a groundlock combo we see in every day pvp. Here is an example of Invo gameplay and combos without Barbarian catching and mainstream combo tactics (some mainstream comboing and Barbarian catching is seen here as well....yes, I'm aware):

If you do that against players of high standards you would look like a complete noob. I already know players who play like that and I personally played around like that, but the effectiveness is extremely bad as in getting 5-0, the only way you can win like that is if the other person plays as off meta as them. I meant not really as in usable against top tier players who know what they are doing and know what to do.

Btw, I saw your videos on youtube around a year ago and I liked them, It's nice to see that your actually that person. Just noticed now since I saw Royalty and it sounded familiar :)
