Hi, I firstly do apologise if this is the wrong section to post. Please redirect me to the appropriate section if it is the wrong one.

Is it possible to dye our costume with White or Black? Or is it just a mixture of gold? If yes, what options should I choose when using Omni Dye.

Really want to be in a Black Mecha Suit  :p_love:

Thanks

There's only two alternative palettes available in our server at the moment. You cannot modify them to your preference. To see what's available for your class, talk to NPC "Dinorah Lacosst" in Eden 2nd floor and select "Dye Options".

Is it possible to dye our costume with White or Black?

How many different things can be dyed?  Pets and carts too?  In the early days of the free-2-play official Valkyrie Server (pre-renewal), there was a short time experiment with the 2nd floor Eden Kafra Cash Shop NPCs where you could purchase a special dye and then take that to the clothing dye NPC.  You would then get a random clothing color.  If you didn't like that color, you'd do it again.  Various players took advantage which is why you still see in the game a sorta-violet biochemist last week or a white priestess or white high priestess approximately 3 weeks ago.  Why bio, priest, or HP?   Well, if they moved up to the next job class, they'd change their clothing for the new official clothing and need to have the new clothes re-dyed....

I suspect that some players only "look quickly in WoE for colors" as their way to identify character types, so if there was a wide variety of overlapping colors for all character types, it would be a lot harder to distinguish character job classes.

I can only dream of the day where the geneticist in his white-dyed disco-inspired clothing pulls his white-dyed cart followed by his mercenary (undyed) and the white-dyed Sera which is then followed by the white-dyed White Lady pet.  That would be quite a wagon train of whiteness.  Or maybe that player whose char is based upon the anime/book Kirito can finally dress his char in all-black clothing just as that crusaders inspired by Darth Sader would change the char's clothes and peco to be all black.

So how will you explain those color candies that can change every class into a monster? It makes harder for me which enemy to target first. And some players are color blind, they don't care about your color, the job's sprite is more important than a colored uniform.

Compared to other MMOs where you can customized your armors into a wide selection (which will make you look unique compared to the other players with the same class), changing your color in RO is not a big thing.
