Hey guys,

 

I am getting a kick every now and then today after downloading the patch. when i am trying to open the game different things happen.

Either i am getting to the channel screen but when i choose a channel i cannot press enter or i cannot even get to the channel screen and it keeps saying verifying gravity credentials... or verifying steam credentials... and then i cannot log in due to login process times out. after trying like 10-15 times i can login for a good 15 minutes before the next kick. it is kind of frustrating.

 

any idea what i can try to do?

Hello,

 

since we have no reports that this happens to others it seems to be a problem on your end.

From what you say it seems that the data transfer from client to server and vice versa seems not to be ok.

 

Things you can try is:

• try turning off your Anti-Virus solution while playing. If this works add the game to it's exceptions
• try to add Dragon Saga to the exceptions of your firewall if you use any
• if you use a Wi-Fi (WLAN) connection try to use a cable connection if this is possible to check if there is any problem

Possibly there was some issue with my client, so i did a repair on it.

 

Now i have been kicked from the game running an instance (frustrating, happened the second time today) and i cannot relog. It keeps saying Verifying Steam Credentials ---> failed to log in to the server. So more or less the same problem as before. I have tried what you have suggested. 

 

Btw like 5 minutes after i have been kicked, my gf, playing on a laptop had the same problem and cannot login again now. both devices were online with a cable connection, not wifi.

 

restarting steam or the router didnt help.

 

any other ideas?

Right now our weekly server maint is going on. Nobody can log in to the game right now.

i am used to games where you get an ingame message before something like that. and i didnt took the timezone shift in concern.
