I until now have met many seemingly new players, that just turn their ego-mode on and run around field maps hitting random groups of monsters - groups that are already being attacked by other players.

 

It is just so annoying seeing those kind of players run around you, killing away the mobs you are targetting right now and they got higher DPS and kill the monsters and you get nothing (for example kill count for monster cards). 

 

Can't I do anything against those players? I know new players from steam might not know, but even in an online game, you still should have some kind of manners.....

 

I asked many to please go to the next group of monsters, but they just won't chat back, ignore me and keep on killing the monsters. 

Isn't there some kind of guideline of how you should behave ingame? If not, I'd wish there were ...

Well it's nice to be nice but you can't really force anyone to behave in a certain way. You can always submit a ticket of those kinds of players as ill-mannered report and let support team to decide if any actions should be made.

it's a matter of perspective and attitude

People call me bad mannered for killing all the spiders and flaggers in BSQ, but I mean isn't that the point of battle square?

 

Just play in a different channel or try partying with them, or get some friends to help you farm.

 

I've always solo farmed pretty much everything.  If someone screws me over in a party or map or etc, I just learned to never party with them again.  Being self reliant is always best, can't get screwed over, only play with a few trusty friends.  And don't over-reach.

The monsters are there to be killed by players. Remember that they have just as much a reason to kill them as you. I've been told off and sworn at for killing "other player's monsters" only to have to explain that they're not the only one in the game.

Remember there are other channels you can use, and the maps are rather large. You can always move somewhere else.

On the other hand, if the player is verbally harassing you, you can always screenshot it and send a ticket to support.

If you farm special monster you also can party this people. This way you both will benefit from it.

Well I mean it's just courteous to not come "steal mobs" if you see someone has a spot down, but there ain't a way to make everyone do that. In hidden maps it's annoying since you cant change channel, and there's always 1-2 spots that are better then the rest :/
