Considering how badly they're managing RO, RO2, ROSE, Requiem, and Dragon Saga, do you really think WarpPortal will do a better job than Aeria in managing Metal Assault?

I don't really know, But do we have any choice? I don't think There are more Publishers beside warpportal. Maybe we should be happy that there is at least a publisher.

There's plenty of other English language publishers out there, not just WarpPortal. Their staff is already stretched thin across their current 5 games, adding another game to manage would simply make things worse for everyone involved.

Lol. I thought its another well-anticipated update from kRO, found out its a different game. =/ Might confuse dear newbies about this thing w/c is not in any way related to Ragnarok. Should be posted here.

Edit 2.0: I see you seem to be talking about this https://warpportal.c...gistration.aspx  Its not even in the game list in Warp Portal account manager or in their website. I guess you gotta wait til they officially launch it.

I've never heard of metal assault. It looks kinda generic. Like a low budget browser game with an extensive cash shop.

 

Why exactly do we care about it? And how do we know about it before its published? And why do all the people who want it have 1 post? This reeks of spambots sent by the people who made the game???

Metal assault is a 2.5 D Side scroller Metal slug-like game. it was shutdown by Aerigames a few years ago and last December the publisher who made Metal assault ( GNISoft ) decided to revive it to all countries that it was in before. 

It ain't spambots. We're just surprised that warpportal made a website yet not posted on their official one yet.

Yes, we have 1 post because we came for Metal Assault..that, or played without using the forum before.

When's WarpPortal going to announce a launch date? GNISoft suggested that they were supposed to have announced it late January and then launched early Feb., and despite the two week delay on announcing it they barely have a splash page for it with a broken sign-up for existing members. No icon for it on their main site, no section for it on the forum, no social media accounts even created for it (I checked all their naming trends), no press release (naturally, given no release date).

 

Anybody remember them putting up a coming soon page for a previous game of theirs? How long do they wait?

Thank you very much VModCinnamon for clearing that up. Hopefully after 2:10 PM today ill be able to post more since this account is new. You cleared a lot of things now this post that you did will make a lot of people relaxed and relieved, ill post this in our group to let everyone know.

Guys, the negativity here is uncalled for as Cinnamon said.

 

Metal Assault fans who have found out that we will have this title are naturally posting at the forum asking about the details. If they have never played a WP game before, their post count would be low because they had no reason to have a forum account here before.  

 

I'm sure we will be finding out more information when the CM's are back in the office this week. Until then, let's welcome Metal Assault players to our community even if their posts have to be in Off Topic for now

I am going to close this topic because we have a forum section for Metal Assault.  It will be adjusted and subsections added as needed.  Now MA players have a place they can post and a place to check for info and updates as those become available. ^_^
