I'll make this direct to the actual proposal:

A special event NPC should appear once a month to reset your skill, stats, and unique skills. Why? ROSE is boring. Testing builds costs too much. If you fail, you wasted both money buying EQUIPS you used to test and SKILL/STATS reset items.

Now why should it be monthly? This is to prevent and control players from abusing free reset (or atleast paid with ZULIE based on your level). If a player badly wants to reset, he can just go buy IM.

Now why should we have it? Simple. Most of the time, we screw up. Sometimes we want to test/CHANGE some other build to find which one is the most effective for our playstyle.

The public test realm [Pegasus] is up and running with the latest build for the new patches.

If you want to test in depth, download the installer for it and test there [they have unlimited 24 hour resets] and if you need gear, convince your friends to help you test etc.

Note: Honor gears are not free, as the main point of the PTR is to test the updates, not your build, that being said, you can still test how the changes affect you, and prepare a good build to use out the gate on launch.

Pegasus isn't for personal testing ground. It is for game bugs, glitches, balances, and inconsistencies of pre-patches.

>And if you need gear
Sadly, this bind thing ruined everything. I do not even. The most affected items here are Valor and Honor items. Why? Because they are "character" locked instead of account locked. Classes who are incapable of farming up points are damned forever.

Also, IM buffs isn't fully compensated yet. It has been already 2 years since the major skill update. 2x duration is never a compensation (well, only bots and macroers will benefit most from this).

Yes you're right, it is for testing builds and systems, I simply gave you an option for now. If you don't want to use that, then don't. There will be free resets when that patch is added, so having some knowledge beforehand would only increase the final result you get on live server.

As for the gear, that was the point. It didn't ruin anything. It re-incorporated the concept of earning your gear. Something we lost a long time ago, and back in those days, people enjoyed the game much more.

Now, if there's some classes that are 'impossible' to play and get points to buy those sets; well that's an entirely different issue. If you know of any of these classes, I would be highly interested in it and request you send me a PM with the details so I can get them investigated and addressed if needed. That's a class balance issue, not a game mechanics issue.

Check your skills window under 'Item Mall' and look for 3 skills [Skill Point Reset] [Stat Point Reset] and [Unique Reset].

They're unlimited use. The DEV's work on keeping the skills refreshed, but if they expire give any Rep or MOD a PM and they'll let Gen know they need to be refreshed.

Thank you for your replying, now get it...

But it seem the Pegasus database not updated yet with Live-server, now i can reset and test my build in Pegasus server

Just wonder about your sentence: "Rep or MOD a PM and they'll let Gen"

What is it this:

-  Rep
- MOD
- PM (Private Messages)?
- Gen

About????

Hahaha sorry to many asking

Rep = Community Representative [like myself]. We handle community feedback and represent it to the Developers as input for future changes or expansions.

MOD = Moderator: They're mostly responsible for keeping the forum in-line with the policies and rules that Warrportal has for the forums. However, they often can relay messages to the developers if there's a legitimate reason.

PM = Yes, private message.

Gen = Genesis. He's now the new Head Developer for ROSE. The 'big wig' as they would say.
