Hello, 

 

Is moving people through bowling bash, ice wall and warp portal from towns to maps (let's say, the thor map.)  skill abuse and/or harassment? And if so, how do I report it? Since some kids who won't man up and apologize for it thought it was funny to do this to me and send 2 of my characters that could lose EXP to a map that allows this while I was asleep.

 

As far as I know, it falls under skill abuse.

 

Don't you think you're being a little bit dramatic over all of this? You weren't even the one they were trying to move. You just happened to be there. And the goal of the people who did it was not to make you lose experience either. There were not malevolent intentions involved here. 

 

 

The intention might not have been malicious (e.g. warping spam bots) but be wary moving players by force to aggressive/different maps is abuse and can be reported.

 

We could get a better clarification on this by CMs hopefully later today.

So someone that is "busy with work all day everyday" is picking random fights with strangers on a message board for a video game they only occasionally play every few weekends? I'd hate to see what you would do if you actually played RO in that case haha. 

 

In any case, the GM's did their investigation and I think the resulting decision is fair, so how's that for a happy ending?

Edit: Like if you really do record everything like you claim to, you could use that time to constructively report the millions of bots that go through alde. But go ahead and report some of the few active players Classic has over something as dumb as this.

The server's small population is not a valid excuse or justification so you can evade reports when you did something that others might think unfunny or unsavory.

Anyway, congrats to you and your peers about your happy news.  Just curious tho, how were you able to know the GMs investigated?

I didn't expect reports to be "evaded." You're right, it isn't a valid excuse. I didn't say it was. I didn't doubt whether or not what actually happened happened. I believed Arctic and had no reason to doubt his claim. Like I said in my first post to Arctic, he's welcome to go ahead and report the five people involved in this (and he did), but I felt it was disingenuous to report five active players (some of whom he actually was on a semi friendly relationship with) and to ignore all the botters that pollute our guild spot. Especially considering he claims he hates bots so much. I don't know about you, but if a friend of mine did something I did not like in game, I would talk to them directly and discuss it with them. In fact, I've even done this before. Now if the offense was serious, I'd probably skip that step and report it immidiately and potentally bring community awareness to it, but I hardly think this is something on that level. We're not talking about duping, botting, RMTing, illegally editing the game client, or cheating in WoE.

 

How do GM's usually communicate with players? You're smart, I'm sure you can figure it out.

Haha, funny thing is I even missed 2 out of 3 woes this week( saturday classic and chaos TE).

Pretty awesome, a complete entertainer and did justice to the comic characters, its very very meta and interactive, like, even the opening and ending credits, making alot of pop culture jokes/ references etc. Basically everything that you expect from a deadpool movie.

Definitely worth a watch. It may not be the ~best~ movie, and if you want a plot you may not like it, but it's actually really funny and entirely Deadpool.

Oda was planning Yuno Spotlight, and told veins was spotlighted not too long time ago in a recent tiki show. i would vote for yuno as well, even if a lot of ppl will cry because of bots or whatever, Magma have a nice TI and 2nd lvl hold sone good loot too. also goats/sleeper/harpy TI would be effected and the guilddungeon. arc angel/angel/devil. wouldnt be a bad choice. Morroc/pyramid/sphix/satan would be nice too.

any chance to get some Item ID# 14521 into the kafra service npcs this time? would be awesome!

Too much attention on Classic it seems. We dont even get patch notes. And no one can tell that this or that happened! There is a patch note for Renewal for today!!
