-Spotlight continues for one more week, what do you want to see for the next Spotlight?

• • Valentines day quest : regarding the new quest. is there even a way of getting love flowers / Stolen Cacao on classic server? can we get a lil fix for us? i actually like doing limited time quests like this one.
  • Camps new quest thingy: soooo looking forward to this, or any other way of getting real slotted ele armors.
  • Challenge Dungeon : are the difficulty vs drop rates on rare subject auras all proper? i know when we were discussing it originally camp, i think it was, suggested that it would either be higher drop rate but only drop one, or, low drop rate and drop for the entire party. as it is now it drops lower than card rate and only one (have not confirmed because i dont think anyone has gotten one yet)

• • gsb hunt for noobs: a lot of ways to handle this, but if you want new guilds you must fix this problem. i think this is part of camps proposal
  • KVM - properly implemented with no bugs or exploits and a promise of no badges available from boxes
  • BGs - do something to make Tierra worth playing, (players new bg?)

  • Pets: some pets still dont give the intended buffs

  • WoE TE: <<< only real idea i can come up with to help new guilds start up/learn(i have read a few proposals for this. all a lil different but all good ideas)

• New World - pushing for a new client / server for classic (i know you are, just want to let you know we want it too)

• Content Plans: i know its early but any thoughts on a challenge quest or instance? kinda a challenge dungeon like thing? any way of perhaps getting one of the new world mvps? just thoughts. 
• Cooking: a player i know suggested we try to separate the pet tames from the food crafting.
• New turn ins: i would like to see turtle dungeon, and clock tower turn ins and perhaps some other similar stuff 

• Life: i would like mine back at some point. but there's too much to work on here in rune-midgard!

Spotlight :  Juno (Magma / Jupteros)   Morroc (Dimensional Gorge / Sphinx)   Veins (Thors)

 

About the Challenge Dungeon exp, i took some SS from the exp given by some monsters to make a comparison...since you can't really go by database.

 

Goat, Gold Acidus, Ice Titan, Kasa, and the archer from challenge Dungeon. (this is the raw exp, no vip or manual)  Edit: i forgot i was on tax, so consider double of the base Exp from all the monsters.

Okay so we spent a long time today making sure that the zone time desyncs should not come back again.

 

Longstory

I spent the week making a chart for how the zone pull their time. During the maintenance we then went server by server verifying that the right time was being pulled. We discovered one little jerk of a server wasn't syncing right and would slowly spread to the other servers causing issues during the week. That server has since been dealt with and I am pretty darn confident that it should now be fixed.

I had to do a lot of research into learning about NTP and administrating it. My school learning was in programming/teaching K-8 Maths not server administration.

the best / hardest fixes are the ones you dont notice when there working, lol. i'm sure everyone is looking forward to the server clock not fighting you   (fingers crossed woe fixed now)
