i'm thinking about making a pvp katar, and i was wondering about its skills, i have a few questions so i'll post bellow

1) Does precision assault also works for katars? and is it worth keeping? (last skill on dual tree)
2) whats the skill that makes people burn?
3) is there anything i need from bow skill tree?
4) should i bother with self buffs on common tree? (i have a cleric and tons of buff pots)

1) Yes it works and accuracy is pretty important.
2) Plasma falcon, phoenix slash, flame slash.
3) Don't bother.
4) If you will never partake in TG duels (1v1 self buffed), then don't bother with self buffs that aren't better than cleric buffs or buff pots. To specifically answer your question, only rapid twitch is worth it in the common skill tree if you are only going to fight with cleric buffs and/or buff pots. Outside of the common skill tree, you should get vicious accordance and if you really want to, mirror phantasm.

umm i never thought to make katar with that dodge buff... so you just carry some DS with you when you want to buff up?

yup, there are lots of raiders that carry a glorious dbsk with j7's in them so they can use the dodge buff. this is mainly for pvp situations. in uw, u tend to avoid buffs that only last 7min and require a weapon switch to cast.

Yes, then just switch back to your katars after you caste the buff. Non-offensive buffs don't get removed when you switch weapons.

A lot of people actually rebuff every 7 minutes...haha.
Well, just 10 minutes as a knight since our self buffs suck.

omg...it'd suck so bad if they didnt have their own clerics :P

i guess its preference XD... lose some dodge vs more accuracy + buff less frequently. i personally would not find uw enjoyable if i had to buff 4-5 times per uw (not counting the times i die)... :)

haha xD

10k weight is plenty for raiders :}

u could argue u might have needed more before, if you wanted to carry like 1 stack of red pots. but now u only need like 50 red pots per day xD
