Before renewal, champs used to wreck high level MVPs as long as they were geared appropriately. Now it seems like with all the nerfs, the days of soloing MVPs is over for Suras. I'm currently 150/47 using a FC build, but I would like to reset to a pure MVP build if it were viable. The problem is, I bought 1.5b worth of MVP gear when I had the money, but this was over a year ago when I came back to RO thinking I would be able to 1-shot anything. There are tons of better gears on the market, but I don't want to sink any zeny into gearing myself up again if I can only kill the lower level MVPs. Does anyone have any experience with soloing (or with a small party), say, Fallen Bishop? Is that still a possibility? Am I being too negative?

 

These are my current gears:

• Headgear
  • Pretty much nothing useful. AK Helm, Robo eyes, gangster scarf
• Armor
  • Glorious suit
  • Diabolus robe (porcellio)
  • Elemental armors
• Weapon
  • +9 Carga (2x AK)
  • +9 Thanatos hammer (hunter fly)
• Shield
  • +9 Valk shield (alice)
• Manteau
  • +9 Diabolus Manteau (clean)
  • +9 Heroic Backpack (raydric)
• Accessories
  • Bako
  • Diabolus Ring (phen)

Is any of this salvageable? I'm not worried about the cost of new gears, just the feasibility of MVPing in general. Also, and probably most importantly, how does one MVP with the ten second SP regen nerf? I am having a hell of a time surviving Dark Lord in ET due to him reducing my HP to 1 almost immediately after I fist. Thanks for your thoughts and opinions.

what exactly did you spend 1.5 billion on? that current set of gear?

Not all of that specifically, but I did drop 1b on two bako tattoos and then 500m was upgrading and stuff.

one shot the mvps. 1 mil + should be easily achievable even without mvps/gods. DL shouldn't be what's stopping you in ET, at any rate.

high upgraded turkey on head, with carat card, incubus mids, banshee master kiss would go a long way towards upping your damage. spellflow shadow set eliminates the need for a phen, or you could use a geffen magic robe or orleans gown for uninterruptible cast as well.

Yeah, it's viable. Even if you can't one shot you can just fly wing (if you're hunting them on a field map) or anodyne + speed pot after each fist.

Upper Head: Turkey/flying evil wing carat

Middle Head: BFG/BDM Incubus

Lower Head: Banshee/long octo ballon

weapon: carga abysmal knight

armor:orlean/valk/etc porc+int enchant

boot:Temp str/variant sohee

accessory:Glove of sura

 

should have 800k+ with this depending on your upgrades and assuming max lvl with all the sura buffs and food buffs

You'll be pleased to know a bako tattoo fetch around 800M-1B now. So 1B for 2 bako was a good investment. lol

Okay, I did some calculations, and now I have more stupid questions. First, this is the best load out I could manage. Let me know if you have any suggestions:
 

• +12 Turkey (carat)
• BDM (incubus)
• Banshee Master Kiss
• Int +3 Diabolus Robe (Mangkukulam (+10% sp))
• +12 Nidhogger's Shadow (Aliot)
• Enhanced Variants (sohee)
• Sura gauntlet x2 (+12% sp & 10 str & 60 atk)
• +12 Carga (AK x2)
• spellflow set
• Incubus pet (+5% sp)

With foods, buffs, and lex I can hit for over 1m. So, yeah that's pretty damn awesome. That will definitely get me past Dark Lord.

 

So, this is what I need to know. Can I reset to have something like 100 Str, 100 Int, 110 Vit, and 60 Dex so I can kill in ET and work toward a pure MVP build? I'm afraid that if I sacrifice too much dex and vit, then my ability to kill with FC and tank in Bio4 will be affected (I currently have 80 dex and 120 vit). Does anyone have any input regarding switching to something more MVP focused while only 150?

I believe a wakwak FAW with SP+250 would be better than the faceworm skin.

Tested with my friend already, gfss int 8 str4 did more damage than faw sp250

Speaking of which, would an INT gfss be better than a STR gfss. Planning to Card it with wak2 card, used together with sohee Temp str

 

edit : comparing 16str versus 14 int GFSS, both are +9
