From the day I saw something was wrong between Dragonkins' Weapons (especially Shaman's Gun Staff) and Humans' Weapons, this has been staying in my mind...
I have been looking at them in the Market so many times, and can openly say that they are slightly weaker than Zauharant Weapons. The gap is quite the same as Lightening Oak/Zauharant though.
Another difference is that the DK's Weapons (GS and Gauntlets) have bonus the same way as Zauharant's, while Humans' Weapons don't.
I don't know if those Weapons should be special to get in any way like Zauharant and Black Dragon, and the Protector of Stars "edition", or if they should be considered as something like the common Weapons one can get in Mission's "end rewards".
Or is it that one should use it as a backup for a needed time to craft BD Weapon? Either way, as we are now, its purpose is almost ruined because of Zauharant's fame. And F7 can accelerate the player, especially when seeing that BD Weapon is Lv.77 (maybe the ingredients gathering is tough though, but still).
Just look at that chain: Dark Soul (Lv.35) > "base" Element (Lv.40) > Magma (Lv.49) > MH (Lv.55) > Bone (Lv.60) > Zauharant (Lv.70) > BD/EBD (Lv.77) > PoS (Lv.81).
A fourth (or fifth, if Zauharant is included) Weapon, among the ones can use in the high level range, certainly sees its purpose ruined.
Why I focused on Gun Staff is......... Because the Weapon isn't restricted. I'm serious: the basic Shaman could be able to use it when Lv.76. I wondered for so long why the difference between FW and Z Weapon was so huge (come on, "Z = 1.6~1.8xFW", not even an approx' 4% trivial gap but a real over 50%, it can go to 2x if there is the max' MATK bonus on Z). [By the way, that also goes for the E-Master's Lv.70±2 Weapons, though the gap is smaller; even the Humans' Weapons have a respectable gap.]
This whole pointless though has cost 400 000 of my neurons, just to make me feel even worse afterwards.
