Honestly the fast and quick play style of the KVM arena isn't a bad thing. But there needs to be protections that will prevent users from abusing it with bots, or using bots to lock other people out.
The idea of the instanced arena is to ultimately provide a quick death match style setup. But in such a manner that players need to be involved. As an added benefit players would not have to experience being locked out of the pvp matches like what happens with traditional battlegrounds.
I understand, but are you against the equipment?
Could you implement it in some other meaningful way?

Yeah I'm aware he's a tough one and he would not retire his actual gear for kvm, it would just be a nice addition. But it would be such a NICEST addition to people that dont have those things, and they are a signifcant part of classic, number wise. You, Isamu, or whatever relevant player would get a little boost from having a kvm set because you probably wouldn't wear it most of the time. Just another switch tool. And I'm talking about non changed kvm, the way I wanted to see implemented it would be tested and tweaked and I think we could get good things from it.
For newbies it could mean the world. We play the same game yet we play a whole different game - you lend gr's and gtb's to your guildies. I lend marcs eds and noxiouss.
And i'm sorry I can't repeat or explain my reasons better, I'm at work and I often can't express myself the way I want especially in english. And the simple thought of getting into an argument with you or alex and the gigantic wall of texts you guys would type makes me want to rip my arm off just to have something to throw at you guys.
But I love you guys :3.
Also Campitor said they won't implement it anyway so not much of a point discussing it I guess.

I remember these kvm weapons being stronk even if not +9, 1 shotted by AB happened really often back then too. kvm set made scholars really hard to kill and on top of that the rings.... elemental immunity? heck.

Botting wasn't the cause of mass amounts of KVM medals. Those were just the lazy who aren't smart enough to exploit the system.
Also @ Camp, I wouldn't put KVM in to give any rewards. The current way it is set up will allow easy exploits and it also doesn't work at all. It breaks and stops working too easily.
(staff dont know about ro and players cant be trusted to test)
As I have said before, the staff should offer incentives for testing and reporting bugs. There are tons and tons of bugs that can be abused with 0 benefit of reporting it. The theoretical "to do the right thing" BS doesn't apply when you can make money or have easy wins. It is also NOT the players responsibility to do the staffs job (although, it helps and in certain scenarios is better). Offering some sort of incentive for people to test/prove bugs exist and getting rewarded for submitting them would be a great start and should have happened over a decade ago.

You can already 1 shot someone with GR and DR on at the same time in woe if your completely decked out. I know people are going to say (not everyone's decked out) but in reality basically everyone is decked out. I don't know why people try to act like they aren't geared. A fully decked out Hibram user will still 1 shot entire alliances and a fully decked out fister will still 1 shot people. The puny 68% demi reduction doesn't even compared to GR's 75% and DR's 50% reduction on gfist and bombs and that's not even including cranial and combat knife or feather beret. However, those weapons are pretty beastly. You know the game is broken when you still die to something even when you switch to gears that are meant to counter what your about to get hit with. Believe me, I'm pretty confident I've gotten hit with more gfist/bombs then most people here and I pretty much know what each person is wearing based on how much damage I take.

PS. You wouldn't know anything about taking damage as you died to a non Hibram SG multiple times. I can only feel your character would be deleted if it got hit with a Hibram SG. That one shot from JT on you was hilarious also. I'm confident people know just how much damage I can take seeing how people have come on TS to complain to me in person about how much it takes to kill me.

Please stop letting players dictate what does and doesn't get put into the game.
Things that are truly unbalanced and broken are quite obvious.
Classic doesn't have the certs and other things that renewal has, so if the rewards are hard to get, people will likely never have a +9 weapon for example.Some of the items are stronger than others, but it gives a much needed boost to certain classes that are put on the shelf otherwise.
I really hope that you guys choose to implement this and don't listen to the false cries of quitting.
Personally, I will dust off my Classic characters and farm badges or whatever you have to do to get the equipment and I know of several people that will also do this.
No one has given compelling reasons on why it shouldn't be in. I know it is a nerf to some classes, but the state some classes like champion are in atm is way worse than anything else because of items like mental potions.
Just be open minded about this.

KvM as designed does not fit this server.
