Hello Dragon Saga Friends!

 

During our Q&A Livestream this week with our Developers Alteris and Popcorn, I know there were many questions regarding updates to the game, some to do with the current state of PvP balancing. As Alteris stated during the Livestream, the Dragon Saga Team is working to resolve the problem with in game cheats before moving forward with many major changes, since this is the greatest detriment to PvP battle. When the fight isn't fair on this level, balancing can only do so much. However, this does not mean that balancing is not going to be coming to Dragon Saga, on a PvP or PvE level. The Dragon Saga Team is always working on improving the game play, and, as we said during the Livestream, we would love your input regarding future balances to help us do so. 

 

Now the balance section and class discussion forums will always be the place for balance threads, but we would like to bring a little bit of visibility to this section to hopefully draw out those interested in giving PvP Balance input! This thread is NOT for posting your specific ideas, it is where you can posts links to threads created in the balance section. That way if you wish to add your input on a specific class or feature of PvP, you can see if your suggestion has already been made, or if a new thread should be created on the subject. 

 

So far we only have two sections to place suggestion threads in, however we will add more should the need arise.

Its pretty hard to balance skills that aren't working the way they are intended to, so we will also include a section to link bug reports here. This can allow anyone who wants to give input to easily find and be aware of skills bug we are working on fixing. If you wish to report a bug, you can report it in this thread as well, or the link to where you have reported it in the technical support section.

seriously I felt ELEMENTS had made pvp very imbalance...... why pvp today is only about element instead of profession skills and control?

Hi, If you want to balance out pvp, you will need to balance/remove element IN pvp. Element has changed the way pvp works these days get it crafted/enchanted and you will 1 hit the opponent. Low level players does not have any resist to elements since its expensive to get them and + they're starting to play the game not really knowing these types of things. This is the 1 and only reason why pvp is broken.

 

if this happens or you realise how element is affecting pvp, then we move on to the classes, this should give you some thoughts on how you gonna balance every class.

Even before elemental damage arrived, the game has been missing out on true PvP.

For years now PvP doesn't rely on playing skill and control, but it is the high end gear that does the win.

 

For instance: now the archer class is enjoying victory by having 400+ move speed.

Just run around, a skill here and there and you are bound to win.

With the casting time of most classes, you cannot hit a high speed archer.

What about remove elemental damage from x-spam or lower the damage output of summoner in pvp. Combo Involker + summy is kinda overpowered in both bsq and ew, one cc and one spam to die (Just personal feeling)

Devs wont touch Dragonkin cause thed have to redo everything to balance them.

Still disproves your point. And they were quite big balance changes, you can't just go nerfing classes to oblivion no matter how much the salty people wish for that. Patience my friend.

they wont touch cuz they are pay to win chars 

 

thats why dragoon and ninja got nerfed fast they where naturally strong even without IM

Yep.........sure...... "pay to win chars never get touched" ........this is exactly why smartshot now is helix shot without auto aim and one of the weaves of the twin got removed from pvp usage as well as it's "self revive" ability........

 

........but yeah "pay to win chars" never have been touched in points of balancing on this server...ever... :p_hi:

 

Like previously said already, patience guys. Better to wait a little longer than ending up with a total mess.

the helix shot nerf was a preparation for the new socket system if that class had keeped the old one it would be a even bigger abomination

Didn't I already tell you not to only post to rant or bash and making false assumptions? You do it again.

There is no reason for us not to touch the dragokin classes.

WE didn't nerf these classes - that has been done by the former devs. Don't blame the current development team for that please and don't compare us to the former devs. We are different - and I am glad we are.
