It has been a while since the Metal Assault was last available to gamers of the Americas so I understand that the game has probably gone through a bunch of changes.
However, since I have returned I have noticed that sniper weapons seem much more overbearing than they used to be, and they were strong back when I originally played. Getting hit by a sniper weapon instantly opens you up to getting gunned down by a pistol in 2-3 shots(body shots from the pistol) which was not the case from when I used to play.
The change in power from when I was playing has to do with how healing works now. Originally back then using the healing skill brought you health back in a big chunk as soon as you used it which let you be able to recover from getting body shot by a sniper weapon. With the healing now being over time you cannot mitigate the sniper body-shots anymore to survive getting gunned down by their pistol.
But the problem is not with the healing being changed to heal over time. Aside from not allowing recovery from sniper shots I actually that the current version of healing is better than the old version.
So my proposal is: instead of returning healing back to healing instantly I would like to request that sniper weapons keep the same head-shot damage but do less body shot damage.
Thanks.
