Oda, can you guys copy the item weight restrictions for rebirth to all the reset services (neuralizer, hypnotist, mesmerist, Santa Claus, etc.)

It's a really big chore to have to store all our items especially when the Kafra storage is nearly full. If the condition already exists on the rebirth script can't it just be copied over? It would save us lots of time to have our builds changed.

Would it be possible to add RNG commands to the chat? Something similar to /dice, but allowing for variable number ranges to simulate polyhedral dice? Strictly an in-chat function--the actual graphic aspect would be unnecessary.

Hallo Oda!  Just curious, do Twitch streamers get some incentive when they stream the game given that they do help in recruiting new players? 

 

Random thought, would it be possible for WP to do stream events like party with the GMs (instance or level up party) or Woe in third person PoV?  It might help promote the game and entice new players to try out RO.

Please remove Bowling Bash's custom cool-down in Renewal. It is limiting Sword RK's DPS and abilities to play instances.

VIP exp event, server exp event, and more medals when? I'm aware we just had medals but when can we expect more of each of these I listed?

 

We usually tie these into holiday type events when they do come in.

Why are ticket times so painful at the moment?
Even simple requests take almost a week to even get an answer for.

 

Ticket response for most issues is about 3-4 days which is fairly standard, however issues involving things like decarding investigations, hacks or general RO account issues will take longer due to the time required to investigate.

With the dupes (or illegal obtained items) in the ragnarok market - is it safe to buy something from another without the risk of losing item/zeny?

User 1 Buys Item Y (illegally obtained item, unknown to User 1) for X zeny from User 2; 

GM retrieved item Y from User 1, will the GM retrieve X zeny from User 2, to compensate User 1? or will only User 1 be "punished" for having an to him/her unknown illegally obtained item?

 

to expand example...

 

User (2), sells kafra shop item, lets say, kitcoins.. these items were illegally obtained through duping, (or whatever way)  User (1) buys kitcoins from user (2), user (2) very happy goes to catisland (malangdo) and get costumes/stones for said kitcoins..

GM finds out through whatever investigation on user (2) and finds out that these kafrashop items were illegally obtained - will user (1) be stripped of items created with those kitcoins, or not?

 

Same goes for if item was Bloody branch (obtained out of  BB: MVP loot, card etc) and other kafra shop items.

 

 

Please note: the item in my example are just an example, i am in no way accusing anyone / point fingers

 

I just would like to have some clarification from GM on the situation currently on the servers.

If you read the threads on this,  Oda already answered.
They probably aren't going to punish you if you buy consumables out of a vend.
Their main goal is going to be catching the person that's doing wrong in the first place or the guy that's buying things with RMT'd zeny.
MvP cards are usually what gets taken away for being duped. All zeny or items that were in the initial trade are returned if you did nothing wrong.
Each case is different, but you should have no worries when buying from a vend.
If you suspect someone of illegal activities, just report that person. The GMs do actually investigate.

Our preference is to punish the RMT seller that sold the duped item, and track down the person who purchased the illegally obtained zeny, not the person who unknowingly bought the duped Kafra Shop item. 

 

 

I've read the threads on this, and i find Oda's response vague - I have created the question as stated above to get a clear answer to see. I would like to see a clear rule in regards to this, as from my experience the probably's are not probably's - but ARE.

The whole "they probably wont"  is extremely vague, and it feels like the gm do a "pick and mix" in how to enforcw certain rules; you could have two seperate but identical cases, and two different outcomes - where one user does get punished and the other doesnt.

 

So is it wrong to ask a clear rule in regards to it?

 

We are not going after people buying safe certs.

Because the minute the rule is vanilla defined people find ways to circumvent it.  The catch 22 as it were.  Defining it to a point is fine but I'd certain things not be decided with a flow chart.
